    Bean and Cheese Nachos

Grew up going to Palmetto Inn, so I was excited to come try out the food. Very glad I did! Split the bean and cheese nachos to start and they were amazing. Then crispy tacos with cheese enchiladas. Just like I remembered. Service was great, would come back.

If you remember Palmetto in Harlingen this is the same place! Moved to La Feria and opened La Feria Cafe. Then moved it to Santa Rosa with Santa Rosa Cafe. Now they are back in La Feria in a new location. Great food and fantastic service. Best homemade chips in the Valley, I kid you not!!

As a raving fan of the McAllen and South Padre Palmetto Inn's I found out that this was the same family recipes. When I walked in, I told my wife that this place smells like the Palmetto Inn. The chips are exactly the same and it was always about their chips. If I stopped here I would give it five stars. Something is different about the enchiladas and really the gravy. The taco shells are as amazing as the chips, but the ground beef filling was without flavor. The prices are great. I like a place that includes the tea in the price. Minus a star for no liquor license.

Great spot for our birthday celebration! The samosas and pakora were a great start! Our table…read moreshared butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, green chicken curry, and lamb biryani. We ordered medium spice, which was lots of flavor and a little heat. The garlic naan is mandatory. The jasmine rice is perfectly flavored. The service was friendly and super attentive. I'm so happy to come back and finally meet the super nice owner who warmly welcomed us and wanted to give us an amazing experience. The service was very fast and accommodating :) We ordered the beef nihari, butter chicken, chicken biryani, and naan. The complimentary chips and salsas/chutneys were given complimentary in the beginning and we loved how spicy some of them were. The owner gave us some extra dip as well! All the main dishes tasted authentic, as if they were made at home with love. I've been craving nihari for a long time and this one was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! It was creamy and hearty with the most tender pieces of boneless beef. The butter chicken was very flavorful and rich. The gravy was addicting to eat and that bowl was completely empty at the end of the night. The chicken biryani was great too! Each of the curries came with a bowl of white rice. I'll be coming back again and again and can't recommend this place enough for the best desi food in the valley!
