    Bagel & latte.

My bagel and latte were delicious and authentic! Service was good, and the ambiance was as it should be in a small store attached to the rest of a large building.

Decent bagels! I was really impressed at the freshness and overall taste because I was expecting much lower quality. Any bagel that isn't St-Viateur bagel gets suspicious looks from me. I'm very loyal to my bagels. I wasn't even going to eat at this place until I saw that they had a smoothie+bagel combo for around 13$. I got the mango smoothie and it was pretty bad. It was warm and really slimy. It tasted overly sweet and not refreshing. I'd probably give their other flavours a try but this one was a no. The salmon and avocado bagel was delicious! I don't know who decided to come up with this combo but it was the best! Lots of bagel places don't really offer varied sandwiches but this place does. I thought the avocado was good but it could have been a bit fresher. Although, I do know how hard it is to manage avocado so I can't really fault them for that. I recommend this place for lunch. I think they really go out of their way to offer lots of different bagel sandwiches combination and they keep everything clean and presentable. I do see how just a plain bagel would be dry from this place but if you get their sandwiches it gets rid of that issue. The only problem I have with the sandwiches is that alone they become reallllllly expensive. Like around 8-11$ per bagel sandwich.

A decent place for a quick breakfast or lunch. I just had the turkey cheese and omelette breakfast bagel sandwich and it was tasty but the bagel felt a little dry. These aren't your thick doughey bagels and I'm starting to reconsider their freshness. I saw an employee take out a tray of frozen bagels that were visibly hard and stuck together so he was banging them on the table to get them loose. They do bake them throughout the day but I have a feeling the dough is premade. There's also some salad options and really appetizing fresh pressed juices and smoothies. With a variety of cream cheese and spreads, the way the food is laid out draws you in since it's like a bakery with everything on display. Trendy spot, a little on the expensive side, but good if you want a healthier more gourmet experience than the fast food competition around.

This is one of my favorite bagel shops in Montreal. I have been coming to this place for the past three years. Their sesame bagel with smoked salmon, capers, and cream cheese is the best. If you come to Montreal, and want to try one of the best bagels, then La Fabrique de Bagel de Montreal is the place to go. Please keep in mind that the shop is not in the food court. It is located closes to the entrance near Rue Mansfield.

Hidden gem I had the salmon caper cream cheese bagel and a mocha I could eat the smoked salmon capers and cream cheese all day long omygosh absolutely delicious!!!! They display a variety of bagels proscuitto would be my next go to. Bagels are made fresh in house!!! Mocha is good. There is only one large table to sit around or high tables on the side but they didnt have chairs when i stopped in. The location is perfect. Right walking distance from the bell centre By a metro station aswell. What i found unique about this building was that it has a skating rink!!! In the middle of the food court. The bagel cafe is located at the front west side of the building and not in the foodcourt ..there is another bagel spot in the foodcourt but it is named different. Staff are friendly! And keep the place clean! Drinks and bagels are made fast!

I fell in love with that place. I just moved a couple of months ago to my new workplace and found this bagel shop. I decided to order a salmon cream cheese bagel with pasta salad. They are very generous with the quantity of cream cheese. Love how fresh the bagel was and it was really filling for a lunch. It's a bit on the pricey side for a bagel but I was satisfied with my meal so I dont mind. Great place, i recommend!

I really liked my Brie and Ham on sesame bagel and I plan on going back since it's above the metro station. I did have to give it a fair rating since the price isn't exactly cheap and it is generally a run and go type of seating.

Hazelnut honey, bacon, salmon shmear, pesto, peanut butter (and soon a jalapeño cream cheese) are all available spreads at La Fabrique de Bagel. Made even more enticing by being displayed like gelato! Don't be shy...ask for samples. They'd rather have you leave happy than regretful! (The bagels aren't a stand out on their own, but provide a great carb frisbee for the spreads!.) They have bagel pizzas and sandwiches that look hearty as all get out, as well as salads, juices, and pastries. The service is friendly and efficient...they'll take their time with you if you have a lot of questions or sweep you through the line if you're in a hurry. Don't dismiss it easily just because it's located inside a building instead of a charming Montreal rue.

A fancy bagel shop on the way to work =La Fabrique de Bagel. This is a quick coffee stop and bagel bite that is a definite better choice than Tim Hortons. Although there is a few seating tables. Prices can vary from 3$ and up depending on what you get. Simple classic bagel and cream cheese ($) or a salmon bagel and cream cheese with capers ($$) with a coffee can add up quickly. I liked their assortment of cream cheese- I was attracted to the fig cream cheese but played it safe and got the spinach with a sesame bagel-Not disappointing. They make their own freshly brewed juice. If you're a regular coffee drinker you can collect stamps and get a free coffee!

Croque St Martin Jambon and a small Cafe Americano. Awesome.

Came to this location on a Saturday morning / its in a mall. They had some premade sandwiches on sesame bagels - I got the Croque St. Martin with ham. They heat them up and they are delicious - chewy , thin bagels. The coffee is also pretty great. My Croque was fantastic. I wanted to eat another. It's a chain and it's great.

Went to go get a sesame bagel with cream cheese on Canada Day when just arriving to Montreal from the Central Station. This was a relatively good bagel, better than what is typically offered at Tim Hortons and the cream cheese amount is quite generous. HOWEVER, the employees working there were quite impatient and got our orders wrong. My friends and I ordered 3 sesame bagels, 2 of them with cream cheese and one raisin cinnamon bagel with butter and she put the cream cheese in the raisin cinnamon bagel instead. When we asked if they got it wrong they didn't offer to remake the bagels and only told us that they did it right and to check if someone else got my bagel. Also, we went at 4:15 and the shop was going to close at 5, but the employees acted very unhappy that we were going to sit at the front of the shop as they say that they are about to close, so we moved else where. Overall food was pretty good but the experience was below par. Would not come to this location specifically nor are the bagels super worth. Taste: 3/5 Service: 1.5/5

Looking for a quick breakfast for family while staying at Fairmont Queen elizabeth, i found that place 2 blocks away from the hotel. Great taste and fast, friendly service. We ate bagels from 2 well known places in Montreal, Fairmount and St-viateur, by tastewise they are the same. I will choose this place because they have a seating table and you don't have to wait.

Great smoked meat sandwich!…read more Honestly my first thought was to compare this sandwich to the many pastrami sandwiches I've had in NYC but that would be comparing apples to oranges. Even Schwartz will tell you it's not the same product although it is very similar. Both institutions cure, spice, smoke and steam the meat but that's where the similarities end. Although I don't know for sure, I've heard the cut of meat is different. Katz uses a naval cut, which is noticeably fattier and juicy. Schwartz's smoked meat doesn't lack in fattiness but it's far less fatty and juicy. Another fact on the first bite is -the flavor. Katz's flavor profile on the pastrami is a knockout punch while Schwartz delivers a jab. Schwartz's smoked meat delivers a different flavor profile all together. That's not to say Schwartz isn't great because it's half the price on Katz essentially and you don't have to tip your slicer here. That's not to say Schwartz doesn't bring their own brand of chaos. On my way out the slicer shouted he'd serve no one until the line was straightened out to his liking. LOL. It's all good though, that line was a mess and Sometimes tourists need a stern talking to. I'd get in a straight line for sure for this sandwich! I got my sandwich from the takeout next door versus waiting for table service. The line was 20 deep at 3pm and I just didn't have the patience on a drizzling afternoon. I'd revisit for another one of these smoked meat sandwiches.

The service there was great, and it had that classic old-school deli atmosphere. I hadn't had a pastrami sandwich in a while, and while this one was very good, I wouldn't personally call it great. I found the meat a little dry, but adding coleslaw and a pickle definitely helped. I also tried their classic black cherry soda, which was excellent. If I'm comparing it to places like Langer's or Katz's, I'd probably rank Schwartz below both of them. I think Katz has better pastrami with more fat and a juicier texture overall, and Langer's #19 is still my favorite deli sandwich because you're getting more ingredients and flavors than just pastrami and mustard. Overall though, Schwartz is definitely worth checking out. You probably won't be blown away, but it's still a really solid experience with a lot of character.

"Her cheeks like the red rose that blooms in the spring Her…read morehair like a lily that grows in young valley She was only a hard-working factory girl" (Sinead O'Connor) La Fabrique de bagel translates into "The Bagel Factory" and there are nine of them in the Montreal area specializing in (you guessed it) the Montreal-style bagel). So, what is a Montreal bagel and how is it different from any other bagel? Well, they are smaller, thinner, denser, and sweeter, with a larger hole in the middle than most other bagels. Back in the day, they were always baked in a wood-burning oven. Today, those types of ovens are illegal, so they engaged a team of bagel production experts to reconfigure a cooking process and replicate the test and texture of their old-school wood fire baked ancestors. And their bagels can be enjoyed in eighteen different varieties, and that is a pretty awesome selection. We decided on an Everything Bagel with jalapeno cream cheese (C$5.25) and a Plain bagel with salmon cream cheese (C$5.25). Our drinks were a Small Americano (C$3.50) and a small drip coffee (C$2.75). My Everything bagel was wonderful. Chewy on the outside, soft on the inside, with a subtle "hint of sweetness" taste. It was everything you'd ever want in a bagel. And the jalapeno cream cheese was great. I order this a lot and sometimes I end up with a dissapointingly bland cream cheese with the lightest green tint to it, as though someone used an eye dropper to administer a few milligrams of pickle juice. But not here, there were actual hunks of raw jalapeno in the cream cheese that left no doubt in your mind what you were eating. They sure delivered the old zip I expect in anything with the word "jalapeno" in its description. You order on their assembly line (the servers were great), then grab a table out in the common area outside the store. PRO TIP The store can be tricky to find. It's inside an office building on a lower level which resembles a shopping mall. What a great thing for the office workers to grab some food without confronting the harsh Montreal winter weather.

I was intrigued, and since I can always go for some carbs I decided to head in and check this place out. Unlike most bakeries I visited, Boulangerie Guillaume has a much more modern look, and is larger than a standard bakery. Walking in, I was immediately greeted by stairs which led up to the main production area. All of the bakes were arranged on the back-wall perimeter of the space separated from the pedestrians by a glass wall. The color scheme was mostly black to contrast the bright yellow of the bags and signage. The arrangement of the bakes, combined with the color scheme and modern aesthetics, resulted in a stunning, visually striking presentation. I wasn't too hungry, but I can always go for some sweets and their date square looked good. I went with that, along with a cappuccino. The square was delicious - the dates were high quality, and the crust underneath was moist while maintaining its integrity. The cappuccino was also good, a great complement to the bake. Service was efficient, and overall I had a great experience at Boulangerie Guillaume. I definitely want to return to explore more of their menu - I noticed they had some savory items so perhaps for some lunch. Definitely one of the best bakeries I visited in Montreal.
