In the past this place has always been a staple for us, but each year we go we like it a little less. This year majority of the group was disappointed in the entire experience from the service to the food. To start, the service was lacking compared to what we get at other local restaurants nearby. Our servers did not frequently come back to ask if we needed anything and we were constantly having to ask to get our waters refilled. The drinks are good, but nothing we can't get elsewhere. Half of our group enjoyed (but not loved) their food and half did not enjoy. My SO and I split the al pastor meal. In the past we have loved this, but this time it felt like they rushed to make it and the flavors we remembered just weren't there. It was still good, but I think it could have been better. I do love the churro cart here, but you can get good churros several other places. Overall, this place has gone downhill in our opinion, and for the price it isn't worth it when there so many better options close by. I'm sure we will be back, but I think we might skip a year stopping here.

Bistec De Res (beef) Tacos - good Lengua De Res (beef tongue) - I love lengua tacos. This is usually my go to. What stole the show was their Al Pastor. I've tried al pastor at different spots and it could be a hit or miss. Ordered the Al Pastor Torta and this was so good!! Our last day in Cancun and we wanted to go back hoping to order more al pastor but since we came too early it wasn't ready yet. If you're wanting to try it, I would say aim for a later time! Sadly, we didn't get a chance the second time but it was definitely memorable. This spot is super chill to drink and eat. Good service as well.

The weather was beautiful, so we were able to sit outdoors. I ordered the coconut shrimp, and it came out in a coconut shell! That meal has lived rent free in my mind ever sense. The size was nice but it was over cooked and needed the sauce. The food was okay but for the price I expected more. The view was nice but not spectacular. At the end of the meal we had to call the waiter to bring us a check to which the manager came over to check us out and informed us the standard tip amount.
