Breakfast buffet; omelette station, french toast with yogurt, tamales, egg whites and spinach, and fresh squeeze OJ!

We had a $50 dalily credit from the Casa Magna Marriott, because I'm a Platinum member and they did not have a concierge lounge. We used this stipend at La Estancia breakfast buffet each morning, as they had a great spread of diverse foods. From traditional American breakfast, to a localized Mexican cuisine, you had your choice of mixing it up. The omelette stations were usually my go to, along with the tamales, papaya, and pastries. There's a lot to choose from depending on your preference of morning meal, but you won't be disappointed. Thank you for the wonderful experince! Can't wait to return - Best, Charlie

Located in the Marriott off the lobby, they serve breakfast, either off the menu or buffet option. At the time, it's about $21 a person for the buffet, and there is a variety of options (both American & Mexican) to select. The staff seems ok, they offered to refill drinks and all that, they were friendly though. There's a bunch of areas such as: -omelette, pancake, waffle, french toast -bacon, sausage, potatoes -cereal, oatmeal -chilaquiles station -pastries, fruit, yogurt -menudo (soup), barria, beans -deli meats/cheeses -juice (about 7 kinds) It's worth the buffet price if you want the option to try anything and everything. I can say it's similar to a Vegas buffet, but with better Mexican items. The hotel also offers the buffet as part of the room reservation, this might be worth it since there are not too many options in the area that are this quality.

Chilaquiles bar with coffee and green juice!

I came here the last morning of my honeymoon right before heading to the airport. I didn't know what to expect out of a breakfast buffet in Mexico, but I was pleasantly surprised. The selection is plentiful from american classics to Mexican delicacies like chilaquiles, conchas, pozole, and even tamales. I kid you not, we spent about 2.5 hours here just enjoying our coffee and trying all the breakfast selections... My wife loved the mini-waffles! they were so fluffy and had the perfect crisp. The staff was great! Our waiter knew our names and suggested many dishes for us to try. Several times he even got those dishes for us... If you don't speak Spanish, don't fret... the entire staff is bilingual.

Impressed and then some!…read more A bit skeptical, as it was under new management, but Senõr Carrera and his partner, the chef, took such great care of us and did an AMAZING job from presentation to flavor to making us feel welcome and appreciated. (Disclaimer: Please overlook any gringa estupida Spanglish grammar errors.) Gracias amigos! This place is a hidden GEM. The prices were off-the-charts reasonable and the lobsters were HUGE! Being from the Midwest, mì amigas lobsters would've been close to double, if not more, what we paid. It's not those tiny tails like you get at red lobster either, that jumbo shrimp rival for size. These lobsters were legit! I've seen smaller chihuahuas... We had a party of 6 and no one complained about a single dish, flavor, spice, drink. Sr. Mauricio was fun and attentive. Guacamole was good. Calamari was amazing! Please get it. Best several of us has ever eaten. Not over cooked and spongy. Just fantastico. Perfecto! Get in a taxi and go there. Now. Then go again. Your stomach AND pocketbook will having a full on fiesta! It's colorful and has murals and is just a beautiful experience. We have 3 more days here and we might even go again. We will see what the universe tells us we need in México! Olé!
