I take the vitamins, use the lip balms, hair brushes, socks, purchase my elderberry zinc lozenges - which I basically pop like candy during these times, girls gotta keep that immune system thriving! vegan cookies, candies, tea - I mean I can go on and on. This store has everything I adore. They really have a ton of great items you'd need for all aspects of your healthy living life and extremely high standards for every product sold here. While, sure you may not be able to get every last item you need here that's zero issue for me. I'm used to frequenting at least two separate stores (Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Ralphs -which I've now learned is City Market here) at home for different items. I'd give you the hottest tip on the Western Slope but I don't want everyone flooding the store for her ;) cough cough Jessica - greatest girl around. Great customer service from everyone I've ever encountered! Fantastic products, I can see why the health conscious peeps of all surrounding areas drive into town for this store. It's the best of the best. You can stop off on the drive to Telluride if you need to stock up on yummy goodies for your trip. I plan on being a customer each and every time I'm in town and highly recommend.

I was always able to go pick one up (instead of the roast chicken), hot, ready-to-go, and great for a meal for two. Today, I called to order (since I have COVID), hoping to pick it up at 4:00ish and was told that "they (corporate) took it off they're deliveries to them... they cannot get them anymore". Since they also no longer carry Newman's Own Limeade, I really have no reason to shop there again. BIG Mistake, corporate!

August 12, 2026 - Ridgway, CO…read more I'm not sure how the locals afford these prices. We were visiting and needed to pick up a few staples, so we stopped here. I was surprised by some of the prices, so I checked my receipt against current average grocery prices in Colorado. It turns out our total was approximately 15% higher than the Colorado average. Of course, this is a mountain town, so you expect prices to be a bit higher. But some items were significantly more expensive. A few examples: Chobani yogurt: ($9.49 vs. $6.49 average) Cherub tomatoes: ($5.99 vs. $3.99 average) Fairlife milk: ($7.49 vs. $5.99 average) Havarti cheese: ($8.49 vs. $6.40 average) Looking back, there were definitely a few things I should have skipped. The shopping experience itself could have been better, too. They were restocking shelves while we were there, and there were boxes and merchandise that we had to maneuver our cart around. One item I wanted was behind a pile of things waiting to be stocked. I was trying to get to it, but the stocker completely ignored me. Not cool. Lesson learned: Double-check prices when shopping in small mountain towns, and buy only the items you absolutely need.

The cashier was different (different is not bad) but hard to read. She was good at what she did, even noticed that she scanned something twice and quickly removed it. She said it back in a low tone. Again, it's most likely her personality and that's ok.
