This "health food" restaurant/store was terrific! The freshly made food was excellent, as well as the products and take out I took out. I had a kind of avocado toast with cheese and a delicious side salad, and took home a chicken salad (made with dried cranberries) sandwich among other things. To drink, I had the hot cacao, which was my first. It was similar to hot chocolate but had added spices like cinnamon and cardamom. I loved it.

Great service! Friendly staff! If you get tired of fried food or bean, this place is a great healthy option! They have whole food juice, smoothie, salad, wraps, bagels, sandwich. They are super yummy and reasonable price. Highly recommended!!

It was with great expectations that we went to Bindiya this evening.   The reviews that we found…read morespoke highly of this new restaraunt just a few blocks from the center of San Miguel.   As people who spend a month per year in Cozumel this diversity was welcomed. Walking into an empty restaurant was our first sign of concern, but when the lady in charge didn't get off her butt to greet us concerns began to grow.  We entered anyway wanting to believe the reviews we read - they must have been paid reviews on yelp.. My pina colada was the worst I've had - EVER!  Tried to order but they didn't have Nan bread.  Seriously, an indian (dot) restaurant without nan.  Tried for plain basmati rice - no again.  They charged $5 for some flavored rice.  Have you ever been to an Indian restaurant that did not serve rice with the main dishes?  But not having lamb - no lamb at all - that section of the menu was out.  So it was chicken or fish or some unrecognizable vegetarian stuff with potatos. So we defaulted to two chicken dishes, Murgh chicken curry & Butter chicken along with an order of Jerra rice (had to buy rice!).. The dishes were VERY bland.  The murgh curry wasn't bad though and we did eat it.  It just lacked any real curry flavor.  The butter chicken was unlike any butter chicken I've ever eaten in any country in Asia or even the US..  It was almost Italian in nature with the overload of tomato sauce in it.  I've never had Butter chicken that tasted like tomato sauce.   It was horrid and we left over half of it on the table, along with that skanky pina colada. On the bright side the decor of the restaurant looks nice and the prices were not over the top.  More expensive than the value as it turns out. A very disappointing experience...

Finally my family agreed and in Cozumel , I yelped and found an Indian restaurant. It is about 15 minutes inside , away from ferry. The decor was inviting and excellent.the host was courteous. We ordered, salty lassi , lemonade and mango lassi.we loved our drinks. After that we ordered, chicken tikka masala and chicken biryani and garlic naans. My kids finally thanked me for taking them for Indian cuisine as they loved the food. The chicken tikka was perfectly spiced for my kids taste and biryani for my more spicier taste. The owner also came to visit with us on her day off . We appreciated the welcoming gesture!! We thanked the chef Sanjay for making our visit memorable with his delicious cooking . Will be back when we are back to Cozumel!!

They have a couple of great regional Yucatan dishes here, like the Molcajete and the Cochinita. San Miguel de Cozumel is admittedly not the most beautiful or interesting Mexican city to do touristy stuff in, so it was a treat to find some great regional cuisine to try. I was with a group, so we ordered the Molcajete (basically, mixed grilled meats in a stew), ceviche, and cochinita (stewed pulled pork), along with tortillas. All of it was great. The sauces, from the salsa to the stew broths to the ceviche sauce, were all terrific. There was mention that they dishes were spicy, but in the end, none of the stuff was super-spicy. Furthermore, the spicy stuff was often a salsa served on the side, or a whole roasted pepper that wasn't integrated into the dish, so you could calibrate your spiciness to your taste. Bathrooms: Basic, but clean and functional.

We get to sit outside on the street, with scooters cars even dump trucks drives pass our table. Interesting experience. Food is good, service is prompt, the bone marrow thing is interesting, first time i tried in this way, in a taco, also grilled. I had their fish, and others had their BBQ plate for two and two ordered holier pork shank. All good! Price is reasonable.

French bistro vibe w/ modern Mexican/French takes on the cuisine. Sounds a little funky but it works !! Some of the old standbys from the original remain w/ some delicious new additions . Cherry bombs & Midnite ribs are some of the holdovers. We had Cherry Bombs and then Arroz Negro, which was black rice w/ grilled octopus, scallops and braised leaks in a citrus beurre blanc w/ green beans and also a fish of the day which was Mahi Mahi in a curry mole. Unusual but very tasty. All accompanied but a bottle of NZ Sauvignon Blanc. A delicious meal. It is not a budget meal but that is not what they are aiming for. A few service kinks to work out but it was only night 9. We will be back

This was a couple blocks away, and it wasn't crowded. This is a relatively small restaurant with a handful of tables in the back. There's lots of greenery and low light. Because we were sitting outside they offered bug spray so that we wouldn't get bitten too much. We started off with the roasted octopus appetizer - delicious. Perfect texture and flavoring. I was clearly on an octopus kick that evening because I decided to get the octopus risotto. A little less flavor than the appetizer, but still pretty good nonetheless. I tried some of my friend's red snapper which was tasted good. For a nightcap, I chose the Oaxaca mule, which is a lot like your average mule, but with a nice smoky aftertaste. Overall a nice, affordable place to grab dinner in Cozumel!

The owner was so kind and welcoming. When I didn't care for my first smoothie, which she suggested might be off putting to my US palette, she watched me try to drink it. Then she comped me the smoothie my daughter had chosen made with strawberries, coconut milk and mango--no added sugar, brought in a mason jar mug. I was very happy to be so graciously welcomed. The owner speaks great idiomatic English and basically said she would be happy to make us whatever we wanted. I asked for a plain salad with lettuce, tomato, and avocado and that's just what we got, with a tangy balsamic vinaigrette. Then I had the home made enchiladas stuffed with potatoes and cheese, absolutely delicious by any standard. We very much enjoyed sitting in the back garden sipping our smoothies and munching on complimentary chips and salsa. Likely we will return before our week in Cozumel ends. second night here!
