Linda Z from La Crosse Floral was proud of the arrangement delivered. She even told me she gave me some really "expensive"fillers ‍ I should've checked yelp for the awful reviews form the last few years. Regardless, I contacted Linda Z. and she needs the money more. I wish I could give zero stars. I went to their website and was directed to another site for ordering. I ordered a nice arrangement for my fathers 35th work anniversary. They called (AFTER THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELIVERED) at 6pm saying that they didn't receive the right items and could they do a Florists Choice of arrangement. I asked for a discount since it would not be what I originally asked for and they said no, but it would be bigger than what I ordered. The left is what I ordered and the right is the HORRIBLE arrangement that NO ONE should EVER pay $100 for. They are awful and La Crosse Floral should be ashamed to call themselves a floral shop anymore. I am honestly embarrassed for you and the crap you produce. First off, let me admit to being a bit of a "cheapskate" and a little "expecting" of both product quality and customer service for every dollar I spend on pretty much anything. Yup, I'm a regular pain in the a**. I brought my partner to La Crosse for his 50th birthday and, at a lurch, was stuck trying to find a way to make his birthday special despite not knowing the area or its offerings. I wanted to surprise him with a gift at the hotel, but I had no idea who could pull off arranging and delivering something special on a next day basis. I searched online and ruled out four options that I was really optimistic about -- so when I perused La Crosse Floral's website, I was (to say the least) skeptical. I found an arrangement I thought he would like and added a cute plush animal option (instead of balloons), but I still had no idea what to expect as far as delivery -- especially since my last floral order (through the well-known 1-800-flowers.com site) failed miserably in its delivery and customer service. We spent the day sight-seeing and antiquing and dining, then finally made our travel-tired way back to the hotel and were greeted to a beautiful display that had been delivered to our room by the hotel staff -- a detail I had hoped (at best) would be communicated to the front desk by the delivery person. The birthday surprise was a huge, heartfelt success and I am extremely happy that it all came together -- in under 12 hours!!! The POINT of this review is this; I wanted to offer a simple "thank you" to La Crosse Floral for the beautiful arrangement in such a ridiculously short time, but quite frankly, after reading some of the sh*tty reviews this company has received online, I was stunned and wanted to point out my own experience in their defense. These guys (and gals, I assume) let me choose from an assortment of arrangements and options, then charged me what I feel is extremely reasonable fee to deliver the product to a HOTEL the next day and they, well, DELIVERED. Some of these reviews say they're "expensive compared to the big box stores" -- well, yeah -- because you're getting hand-grown plants from a small, local florist rather than the crap you're paying a fraction of the price elsewhere. When I worked for a small local greenhouse, I asked the owners why the prices were higher than mainstream retail prices and they explained it to me very simply; "because when you buy from the big boys, you're buying something that came up from Mexico or someplace and has been sitting on a truck for the last four or five days in the back of a truck." Yikes! We placed an order for my aunts birthday. We looked at arrangements online and called in. We were transferred 3 times and then finally got a person -- upon pick up we found something WAY overpriced that looked NOTHING at all like the photos. 10 out of 10 do NOT recommend. Save your money and go to Walmart. read more

For the price, we were quite disappointed. It was $145 for a wedding bouquet that wasn't uniform all the way around and was all sorts of different heights. We were expecting something much were extravagant but, were immensely let down. Would definitely not buy a bouquet from there again but, you only get married once so it's too late for us. I will never order from them, again! I preordered an arrangement for Valentine's Day for my mom. I was mortified at the picture she sent. It looks thrown together. It looked nothing like what I had ordered. They used mainly carnations with a few roses & lilies. It cost $65 plus $10 delivery fee. This is the first time I have used La Crosse Floral. I have always been satisfied with the pictures my mom has sent me from other florists in the area. Also, she did not receive her flowers on Valentine's Day. My mom thinks they did come on Valentine's Day as she heard a knock at the door, but they didn't allow her enough time to get to the door. So, I enjoy the variety of plants available at La Crosse Floral. For this area, they have a pretty good selection. Customer service is great, aside from an interesting conversation. Prices vary greatly, and seem high compared to other local green houses or the big box stores. About the interesting conversation: I spoke with an employee about what they know about leaf shine and possibly using it to remove hard water stains off of a fiddle leaf fig. She (the employee) snarked at me about how plants don't like water on their leaves (I know) and how the water would affect their health and cause further problems bigger than hard water stains(I knew this as well). The hard water stains were not because I watered the plant, it was from the previous owner. So I'm a little annoyed that the blame was directed onto me and I was being lectured about basic care. I have roughly 57 different species of indoor plants, all of which range greatly in care. I've never (ever) been so offended in a green house before, it was interesting indeed. read more

HORRIBLE! Since I can remember, it has been a mother's day tradition to go to La Crosse Floral to pick out flowers to plant. We have spent HUNDREDS of dollars here every year. Never again. I ordered the bouquet bellow (right) for my mom's masters graduation ceremony. Having had positive experiences at La Crosse Floral, I expected the bouquet to be the same as the one represented on their website. I ordered the bouquet over the phone and received the disaster pictured (left). Upon addressing the clear misrepresentation of the product, I was told that it was common knowledge that those photos are inaccurate and that the recipes they follow do not come close to the bouquets advertised on their website. However, this was never communicated to me on the phone. Save yourself TIME and MONEY and go to Bittersweet (or Walmart, for that matter) where you will receive better flowers and service. read more

I would ABSOLUTELY NEVER ORDER from here again. I sent a $50.00 arrangement for my Aunts funeral, when I arrived & saw the arrangement I was mortified & embarrassed. Carnations & spruce sprigs doesn't constitute $50.00 + over a $12.00 delivery fee.... then when I contacted the manager she indicated she would look into it didn't even have the professionalism to call me back. I had to order flowers from Utah for a good friend that had a funeral at a church early on a Saturday. The first place I called would not deliver on Saturday, then I called La Crosse Floral after viewing their arrangements on-line. They were friendly and very helpful. I ordered an arrangement with red, white and blue flowers with a flag to be delivered to the church at 8:30 on Saturday and a fruit basket with a flower arrangement on top to his widow. I have not seen these personally but I received a letter from her praising the beautiful flower arrangement and the very nice fruit basket. She also said the flowers were so beautiful and stood out above the rest and lasted the longest, with similar praise with the fruit basket. I would certainly recommend La Crosse Floral and order from then again. Thank you so much. read more

Ordered flowers for a funeral based on a picture on their website. When I saw the arrangement at the visitation it was nothing like the picture. Nice basket was replaced by a cheap tin container. If La Crosse floral could not replicate the arrangement on their website, why didn't they contact me to inquire if I would be ok with a substitution? I think they probably assume you will send flowers and not show up to see them and they can get away with their switch. For the price I paid, I expected a lot more. I was embarrassed that my name was on the card. Steer clear of this place! read more

Sisters and I ordered arrangement for our cousins funeral, its pic online was lovely and just what we wanted, imagine our dismay when we saw the actually arrangement at the visitation and it was nothing like the advertised pic, it had completely different container , sickly looking plants and a very limp narrow ribbon instead of the wide lush one in the pic; I was embarrassed that my name was on the card and I should think LaCrosse floral would be ashamed to have their name on it.
