First of all, I didn't realize that Sunshine Floral closed at 3pm, but I proceeded to call at 3:05pm, and a wonderful and attentive lady answered the phone, and without hesitation she proceeded to take my delivery order. She asked what flowers to send, and I kindly responded that the recipient was a fan of carnations, roses, lilies, peonies, sunflowers, etc. So, I told her how much I wanted to spend on the arrangement, and I kindly asked her to be creative in putting it together. That was on Monday, Dec 4th, and today I received a phone call from the recipient who was overjoyed by both the beauty and the fragrance of the arrangement! Kudos to the lady who took my order and put together a beautiful arrangement (Photo attached). I will be sure to make Sunshine Floral my go to florist for future orders. We were recently in town for a funeral. I needed to order some flowers and since we used to live in the LaCrosse area - I reached out to Sunshine Floral. I was a bit surprised that they were not open to public traffic due to Covid & an immune compromised employee. That did not deter the excellent telephonic customer service I received. THANKYOU to the most helpful voice on the other end of the phone. I was able to completely customize an arrangement ( sight unseen) and have it delivered - free of charge to the funeral home. Ordered an arrangement for my nephews funeral. It was absolutely aweful. Not worth the money I paid. I ordered an arrangement with two plants. A peace lily and not sure what the other was. Did not get much of A lily plant and a short flowering plant. Looked horrible. Wanted a ribbon that said cousin and nephew. The ribbon was an aweful yellow color and you couldn't tell it even said cousin and nephew. Who ever tied the bow did not know how to do it. I was disappointed to say the least and the price I expected so much more. Especially since I saw a beautiful peacelily which is what I was I was expecting for the price. A good friend of mine recently passed in a town near LaCrosse. I couldn't find a florist to deliver to my friend's Memorial Service because of the distance the church was from any florist. After ordering flowers from an online retailer, only to have them email us the day of delivery saying they couldn't fulfill the order, I was in a panic to find a florist in La Crosse who could deliver same day. Enter Sunshine Floral. Our friend had been going through a rough time with her dad being sick and we wanted to send her some flowers to let her know we were thinking of her. I called Sunshine and talked with Marty at 1pm. I asked if he could do a same-day arrangement AND deliver it. He didn't hesitate and said it would be no problem. I didn't have my friend's phone number handy for the delivery, so I just gave him my number if there were issues. When he went to deliver the arrangement, she wasn't home and he tried to call me but I was at work and missed his call. He waited at the house for a bit, hoping I'd call back right away, but when I didn't, he went above and beyond. I researched several florists and most had indoor plants or arrangements, but not what I was hoping to send. I called Sunshine Floral and the woman on the phone was incredibly nice and helpful, describing the planters and flowers and the price was very reasonable. I called at 6pm on a Wednesday and they assured me my arrangement would be delivered the next morning by 10am. Linda was the lady we were dealing with for our wedding. I believe she is the owner. Anyhow, We live in michigan and were planning a wedding in Wisconsin. As if that wasnt hard enough. So I showed Linda the exact photos of what we wanted and she said she could do no problem. I also requested peonies which she said she could definitely get. It was all a ploy to get our business because non of the above happened. We didnt go with a friend of the family because he said peonies were impossible. So we went with someone who said she could get them from Hawaii. When the time came, she said she didnt know if she could but would order them and if they were unusable, she would use garden roses instead. At that point, it was what it was and I had no choice two weeks before my wedding. When the day came, of course the peonies were unusable. We also gave her some white feathers to put tastefully in the centerpieces and bouquets. Just because we gave her four bags, did not mean she had to use them all!!! We just wanted to make sure she had enough for the look we were going for, just like the photos we showed her! When the time came the centerpieces were hidious. We told her pale pink flowers, which were bright pink, and the feathers were all over the place. So tacky, and just hidious. I called to complain but she said the GROOM approved them!! The groom had no idea what they were suppose to look like. So she wouldnt come fix them and wouldnt help me out in anyway!! Said the feathers could come out, just pull them out. Well I wouldnt be to the reception site till after it already started and you want me, the bride, to go fix your mistake? And then the bouquets!!! Same thing! Pale pink turned into bright pink and their were more feathers than flowers! We were running late to the ceremony but just before we walked down the isle I told all the girls to get to work and pull out all the feathers. It helped but they were still hidious. Needless to say we didnt get any photos with our bouquets because of this. I trusted her and she let me down. She got her money so she was done in her head and didn't have the courtesy to come back and fix it so I was happy on my one special day! A day that should always be perfect. When I see photos of those centerpieces I still cringe. So much for tasteful, romantic atmosphere. It was tacky and in your face hidious!!! Do not go to Sunshine floral. No matter how good you think the prices are and how much she promises to get you what you want!! Once she gets her money she is done in her head and if you need something fixed, you will have to do it yourself!! read more

I called the Florist on a Wednesday and Valentines Day was on Friday, I have used this Florist twice before and they were OK. I told them that I need the Flowers delivered on Thursday not Friday because they were for my daughter who lives away from us and I wanted her to enjoy the flowers and she was going to leave early on Valentines Day. I called her Thursday afternoon to ask how she liked the flowers and she didn't get them, I called the Florist and left two messages that day, no one ever called me back, I called on Friday morning (Valentines Day) left two more messages and no one called me back, I then called around noon because she was leaving work early and told them to just cancel the flowers and give me my money back. Never returned any of my calls and delivered the flowers around 3 pm on Friday and she was already gone! I will never ever use this florist again, very rude to not call me back or to try to make this situation better. And, to make things worse, the flowers were the wrong color and I specifically told them I wanted the ones on their website. Today I need to order flowers again for my daughter's birthday and definitely used a different florist in Lacrosse. Maybe now I will get a call and an apology:) I doubt it! read more
