The AC was barely cooling the interior of my vehicle, and as I was driving by Nelson Auto Center I…read morenoticed their sign mentioned a reminder about getting an AC check. I made a note of that and eventually stopped in to see if they could do a check for me. I was met promptly at the service desk on a busy day, and while they couldn't me in same day (which was a Thursday) I was able to schedule an appointment for the following Monday morning. When I arrived, Joel met me at the service desk to get things started. Very smooth check-in process. Joel let me know it would be about an hour to do the check and said they'd text me when it was complete. I told him I'd head over to the Taco Bell next door and be back after that. Joel pointed out that some sort of construction had started that morning at Taco Bell and that it didn't look open (turns out it wasn't). That didn't stop me from breaking fast. Joel set me up with a loaner vehicle so I could go grab a bit to eat. Sure enough, about an hour later (as I'm finishing my breakfast) Joel called, let me know that the freon was low and that they topped it off, and that the car was ready. When I arrived, we completed payment in no time, and I was out the door with cold AC at a very reasonable price. I'm glad I got the work done at Nelson - friendly, knowledgeable folks who work quickly and charge reasonably. I would not hesitate to go back for additional service needs.

I have used River States twice to service my 2018 Freightliner RV. The first time in 2022 it was…read morethe annual service($750). It was done in one day as promised and they did a good job. The second time was in 2023($900) and it was more complicated. It involved a check engine light diagnosed as a bad turbo. Turned out to be a bed sensor which they replaced. The second issue involved was where the coach would bounce like a bucking horse after a stop and a turn. So bad that I had to stop completely in traffic. Scary. They installed front check valves (I provided) and replace the air lines. They drove it, diagnosed it, fixed it and drove it again and verified light was out for good and that there was no bucking problem. All has been good since then after 7,500 miles (12/1/2023). Expensive but worth it. But then again anything diesel is...

Drove the RV home and noticed a coolant leak. I returned the RV to have it checked out. Concerned they were crooks, 3 days later another shop confirmed brakes were shot and thermostat broken. I cannot express my dissatisfaction strongly enough. From my first contact with Steve to discuss my issue with my AC, and then setting up a service time was impressive. Steve was very communicative with me, both in person and messages left on my phone letting me know what needed to be fixed, the price, giving me a loaner to use at no charge, and setting up a timely repair time. Tom Curtis was also very communicative with me as was Brady in their service department. Their technician did an excellent job with the repair. They even washed my vehicle after the repair so I picked up a clean van too at no charge. I would highly recommend Pischke Motors of West Salem to anyone needing service. I will continue to use them for oil changes and any repairs needed in the future. Sharon W.

On one occasion, my wife's vehicle was making noise when the brakes were applied. We called Cletus, who said the soonest appointment was 3 days away. 10 minutes later he called back and said he was concerned for her safety, and asked if she could bring it by for a quick inspection. I have been completely satisfied with the repairs Cletus has made to our vehicles. In my opinion, he could charge double what he charges now, and I'd still bring our cars to him. Why? Because I trust that he's not trying to rip me off. If he says something needs to be done, it really needs to be done. If it doesn't he'll say so. The only downside is that his reputation for honesty and good work has spread, and now it takes a long time to get your car in!
