They seat you in his office before they take you back into the dental chair. I think this eases the fear and stress of the patient. Dr Roussel is very kind, witty and very laid back. He and my husband immediately started talking about sports, then family and finally dental history and health. The environment is very relaxing. The ladies are very sweet and helpful. Dr is not rough and informs you of everything he's getting ready to do or doing at that moment. He takes most insurances and their prices are very reasonable. At first the name turned me off because I thought an artistic dentist has to be pricey, but NOPE not at all ! Throughout all of those years, we never had a complaint and had a great deal of trust in the practice. Unfortunately, my recent experience under the new owner, Dr. Loftin, has been extremely disappointing. I inquired about Invisalign to close the gap between my front teeth. During my consultation, I was given a detailed explanation of the process, provided a quote, and shown a 3D simulation illustrating how my teeth were expected to move and what my smile would look like at the end of treatment. Based on that information, I committed to the treatment and followed all of the instructions I was given. After paying thousands of dollars, wearing Invisalign for months, and completing all of the trays provided, the gap between my front teeth is still there. It is essentially the same size as it was before treatment. Looking at my smile, you would not know that I had undergone Invisalign treatment at all. What has been especially upsetting is that, after investing so much time and money, the solutions offered to me were either veneers--which would require spending even more money--or possibly adding something to the back of my mouth to shift my teeth forward. I understand that dental treatment does not always produce perfectly predictable results. However, after being shown a 3D representation of the expected outcome, paying thousands of dollars, completing the prescribed treatment, and following the instructions, I expected a meaningful improvement in the issue I specifically sought treatment to correct. Instead, I feel worse about my smile than I did before I started. After being a loyal patient for more than 20 years, this experience has been particularly disappointing.

That is until I went to Grand Family Dentistry on Jones Creek in Baton Rouge. I had to go to get some relief from a tooth that was hurting severely. I informed the staff how I struggle with fear and anxiety. This staff took care of my issues like never before. Kay and Tara got me situated and prepped - x rays first. Then an angel of a doctor appeared, Dr. "D" they call her. She was so caring and reassuring, going over my x rays with me. A topical deadening product was applied and was given enough time to do its job. Then she injected my gums with more deadening product - she was amazing - no pain. Then nitrous oxide was administered and the tooth was extracted, one stitch and it was time to turn off the nitrous oxide. This was absolutely the most pleasant dental experience I have ever had. No pain whatsoever- no apprehension, no anxiety and no fear. I have been back twice for additional work and will continue to go to Grand Family Dentistry where Dr. "D", Kay and Tara are absolutely the best at what they do. Yes, I highly recommend this place.

Our family of 4 has been clients here for about 4 years now, and we love it! Our insurance has changed several times in those years, but thank goodness they've always been in network. We take advantage of our cleanings every 6 months and always find the perfect time spots when we schedule that far in advance. My girls were about 3 and 6 when we started coming and always have had positive experiences. I was told by friends about pediatric dentists, but since Dr. Suadi was more convenient for us, we all went here. They had "happy visits" at first where they just tested their reactions to looking in their mouthes, etc., and since all went well, we progressed to regular visits. Came in for four fillings and was there for 4 1/2 hours, two of which was waiting in the waiting…read moreroom or dentist chair. ***He left mid filling to begin and end an exam.*** Mid filling, Dr Zeiler told me he had to get another bit for the drill. He did not come back for 45 minutes(no exagerration). Long enough for the local anesthetic to begin wearing off and the pain from the open pit he had drilled to begin. Had to be painfully re-administered . During one of the apologies from a passing dental assistant, I was told he was finishing an exam and would be in shortly. No recognition or apology for the situation from Dr. Zieler This is only one of the unprofessional and inconsiderate occurrences under his care. Hirak Dave is the best dental hygienist I have had, though.
