My husband and I were with another couple, and ordered oysters, mussels, fish soup and white fish (merlu). It was the prix fixe menu where you get three courses for one price. It was a bargain for what we got. Food was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and flavorful. The wine was as good as the dinner. We were tired of ritzy hotel restaurants with unremarkable food and passable service. So we went exploring and found La Vague (The Wave). As their menu is quite extensive, we decided to order one of their prix fixe menus: Menu du Sillon, so we didn't take up too much of the waiter's time. I ordered the fish soup appetizer (rockfish) which as quite tasty. The Dover sole was my main course and it was excellent! They removed the head, skin and bones and plated it at the table. Crème brûlée was a must for dessert. My table mate had the cheese platter for dessert and they brought a hug assortment of cheeses on it and gave him his choice of cheeses. He took one of each. Overall an excellent meal, tho be prepared to wait awhile between courses.
