This spot is great. Pastries are amazing, you can tell it's a family run business that really believes in the product they are making and cares for people. It's a joy to support their business! I've been multiple time and the pastries are delicious. Also, massive! I'm always able to split one or have leftovers. The prices are great for what you get. One word of advice, you HAVE to go in with a plan. If you order an espresso drink, be certain you are prepared for a long wait (30+ min, it is not quick). If you want to have a quicker visit or don't plan for long, just grab some pastries or drip coffee. Adding a prepared drink will extend your wait exponentially. It's a popular spot, so just be aware of that if you're hoping for seating. It fills up quick and is usually packed. I have to prepare myself for encountering a crowd when I go here. The demand for delicious pastries is high! Glad to have this spot in Colorado Springs. read more

Visiting Colorado Springs and I was excited to try La Concha Bakery but I left disappointed. I ordered a concha, and while it was definitely large as you can see, the size didn't make up for the quality. A good concha should be soft, slightly fluffy and have that fresh-baked aroma. This was oversized, dry and it felt like I got more bread than flavor. For someone who grew up with Mexican pan dulce, there's that hard-to-describe "authentic" quality--it's not just sweetness, it's the texture, the crumb and the balance between the bread and the topping. I know everyone has different tastes, but for me, the concha ended up being more about quantity than quality The bakery itself was nice, the staff was really friendly but unfortunately the pastry just didn't live up to it. read more

The service here is really great! Whoever took my order today was very nice and she even helped me with my selection. You can tell they have kind workers who care about what they do. The place was pretty small but they had a big savory and sweet pastry selection. The drink menu was much smaller, just simple things. The pastry was pretty tasty, I didn't expect the dough to be cinnamon and I enjoyed that. I would probably give them closer to a 4.5 and would definitely return. read more

Lots of great food choices. The portion sizes are large so be prepared to share. The coffee and teas are good. Both indoor and outdoor seating provide ample room. Be warned going earlier is recommended. Later in the day you are more likely to see a limited offering of pastries. However, 10/10 recommend coming here read more

This has got to be the best bakery in the Springs, you'll be hard pressed to convince me otherwise. My son mentioned it to me on my last visit and we didn't get around to dropping in. This past weekend he brought me here twice! It smells incredible the second you step through the door. You're immediately transported into bakery heaven. You will not believe your eyes at the delights incased before you. I wanted one of everything! This being 10+ lbs overweight is not a cute look on me and that meant nothing as I began to order, two different concha's, and a spinach and feta croissant. Soooo scrumptious! The next day I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and a strawberry filled donut. I don't love strawberry I'm a raspberry jam girl but I went for it and omg! Sensational. My son, sister and mom all ordered various different items. I do not think you can go wrong here, every pastry looks so good! There's very little in life that I adore more than a perfect pâtissière and this is it. I pray this business boasts continued success because they appear to really be doing it right. The crowd was so diverse, we sat indoors one day and outdoors the next. It was my birthday one of the days and quite frankly sitting outside in the sun with my son and yummy pastries in hand was probably one of the single best moments of the entire day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I only wish I'd known they did cakes, I totes would have ordered my birthday cake from here. Very solid 5 STARS! Can't wait to get back. It'll probably be my very first stop on every single trip to town. read more

Tucked away in a corner of Colorado Springs, with a mountain as a backdrop is the cutest cafe! With an assortment of baked goods that are perfectly sweet and just the right amount of decadence. The staff is always friendly, even when the place is packed and the line seems to go forever. You can tell a lot of love has been put into this place, you can taste it as well. There is a variety of sweet and savory options. As well as coffee/tea to options to choose from while you eat your treat. This place is a must try! read more

If happiness had a smell, it would be walking into La Concha at 7am. I swear the Dubai chocolate croissant has altered my brain chemistry in ways scientists should probably study. Flaky, rich, chocolatey perfection--I would do unspeakable (but fully legal, Yelp-friendly) things just to secure another one. And don't even get me started on their conchas. Soft, fluffy clouds of joy with just the right amount of sweetness. Honestly, if the Mayans had access to these, history books would read very differently. The staff? Warm and welcoming. The vibe? Bright and comforting. The pastries? Weapons of mass deliciousness. La Concha isn't just a bakery--it's a spiritual experience. If you see me camped out by the pastry case, no you didn't. read more

Heard good things about this place and wanted to give it a try. It's was a no confusing when we got there cause there was a sign that said like to order starts here but no one really helped us until after about 10 minutes or so. Once we got to order, we got pastries, coffee, and a loaf of bread. The pastries looked fabulous and were good. The loaf of sourdough was delicious. read more

Food was fine but the girl behind the counter serving my sandwich was wiping her face and eating food while serving me. No hand washing, no gloves between any of this. Disgusting. I have worked in restaurants and I would have been fired for this. read more

Beautiful pastries and friendly service. It's so hard to pick just one thing when everything looks amazing.

My wife and I went there for the first time and found a line out the door. Service was very slow and seemed to be in disarray. My wife ordered a small vanilla latte with honey. The girl taking the order didn't understand what she said so she had to repeat it three times. Then the order was wrong anyway; no vanilla. My order was correct but coffee was very weak. It took about 15 minutes to get our order because the girl making coffee was standing at a table talking to customers. No a great experience. We followed up with a call to the store but never got a call back. read more

Perfect walk from the Cheyenne Mountain Resort if you are staying there looking for a nearby cafe. They have a huge variety of pastries, including savory and sweet. I got the spinach feta croissant, which was absolutely huge and delicious and warm. I also got the chocolate la concha which was equally as delicious but be prepared to be wearing it if you're not careful as it can be messy! I also got a large iced latte with almond and hazelnut. The coffee is very strong and will keep me awake today for sure. The service was very friendly and quick. There's plenty of places to sit inside in a couple outside if you wanted. They also have a wide variety of bottled/canned drinks, I got the chocolate coconut water as that seemed like it would be interesting! Awesome place, highly recommend! read more

A fantastic morning stop for coffee and excellent pastries and baked goodies in this small, strip mall setting. Better plan to grab and go, for seating is limited and often full. Among the recommendations: breakfast sandwich...and their croissants. Lighting, flakey and delicious. A working bakery with an open kitchen. read more

The pastries looked beautiful, but unfortunately the taste didn't match the presentation. A good pastry should be light, flaky, moist, and full of flavor, but the one I had was dry, and the custard was bland. I also tried the signature concha bread. It was dry, lacked flavor, and didn't taste fresh at all. Overall, I was disappointed because everything looked much better than it tasted. read more

Experience was amazing! My fiancé and I went here for the first time today and loved the bakery! We ended up getting the Dulce de Leche Tutti and an iced vanilla chai! Both of them were amazing and lived up to every expectation. The staff were amazing and they were all smiles when serving us! We were able to talk to the owner a bit as well. He was incredibly friendly and we could tell that he had a big heart for their customers and their business. The inside of the shop is perfect for sitting, working, reading a book, etc. Highly Highly recommend! read more

When you first walk in the smell of fresh pastries consumes you.... It's a small location with wonderful customer service and the ambience is that of modest mid-century decor. The concha's are extremely soft and delicious made fresh every day. You can also get coffee and different types of cakes as well. If you've never been, you should definitely try this place out !! read more

Wonderful bakery, coffee, staff, and environment! I only wish I lived here. I will visit again in the future.

Best bakery/cafe in the springs. Haven't had a bad pastry and but the veggie sandwich was a highlight!!

Came here too late on the weekend and most of the stuff was sold out - Definitely a good sign for a bakery. The pastries I did see looked amazing and delicious. There's not a big sitting area there and the table are pretty close together. Got an apple turnover, and a bread pudding both were delicious. The matcha was okay. Will need to return back to try other menu items in the future. read more

We love this place. One of our favorite bakeries. The only place I know in the Springs that has Affagato (I probably spelt that wrong). Whenever I visit, I always get a pastry, and ice cream with espresso for breakfast. We will keep coming back! My kids absolutely love this place as well. I love watching their joy as they see all the goodies through the glass. read more

I love bakeries, and if I see one while traveling I will make a point to stop and try it out. This place has a lot of potential. It was clean and bright and you can watch them make bread behind the counter. But something felt a bit off on my visit. When I arrived, there were easily 10 people waiting for thier espresso drinks. I ordered an Americano and an oreja (palmier) pastry. While I waited my 15 minutes to get my drink, I overheard the pastry chef scolding the other pastry chefs for not having enough concha's out. Probably wouldn't have noticed if I didn't speak Spanish. When I finally got my coffee, I broke into my pastry. It tasted a day old. It was not flaky and really, really chewy. I'll probably give it another chance, but won't go out of my way to visit. read more

Wow, what a place. The bakery items all look amazing and shared the largest lemon meringue croissant ever made at it was sooo good. Absolutely the best bakery in Colorado Springs, if not the best bakery I've been to since moving to Colorado (I'm visiting from Boulder). First of all, I'm a ham and cheese croissant connoisseur, and I'll go as far to say this is one of the best ones I've ever had. We also got chicken BLT - it may be one of the tastiest sandwiches ever. Everything is SO fresh and incredible, the pastry chefs are literally behind the counter making bread and everything gorgeous and delicious. For sweet treats we got a Master Croissant and, of course, a concha. Both so perfectly sweet and delicious, as well as pretty. I also grabbed a sourdough bread loaf, and I think you already know what I'd say about it. In addition to all this, the staff is so friendly and lovely. It was busy but still quick, there was plenty of seating. They had gorgeous flowers out front too! We had a chat with Sebastian, and he was so nice and helpful. My parents frequent this bakery and insisted they take me here when I came to town and it's clear why! Sebastian remembered my mom and made sure to come say hi. I wish there was a location in Boulder so I could go every weekend! read more

My only complaint about La Concha is that I live on the Northeast side of town and I can't go there more. This is mine and my husbands favorite bakery. I'm resentfully gluten free and they have an almond coffee cake that makes me okay with it. Their coffee is delicious and it smells like heaven right when you walk in. Each time we've gone, we've had the best service by the kindest people. We love it! We're so glad to have found it! read more

O My Gosh!!! This place is amazing. Guillermo knows bread. And he makes my favorite...conchas! We made it early to the Grand Opening not sure what to expect. Only 3 people in line. Just enough time to choose what to order (conchas). When I got my order and paid, I turned around and there were about 30 people behind me. Whew!! And it's in my neighborhood! Warning Tiramisu 1/10 - but cheesecake 10/10. I'm a tiramisu addict, I order this dessert everywhere but this was completely drenched in rum. I took 2 bites and had to throw it away. I wish they would've put a warning label. Typically tiramisu is made with coffee (sometimes an added splash of alcohol) not a whole pint of rum and absolutely no coffee. Very disappointing on that part but I'm sure all the other treats are as delicious as the cheesecake. read more

uhhhhh wow ! best and sweetest staff . i'm a tiramisu connoisseur and this is by far one of the best tiramisus i have ever had . very espresso forward , not overly sweet , and creamy as ever ! the strawberry croissant was to die for as well and i would highly recommend the caprese sandwich as well . the only thing i've had that i didn't love was the corn cob looking dessert . it was dry and COVERED in sugar but other than that 100/10 . read more

We love it here! The bread, pastries, espresso, service, atmosphere. So grateful the opened in our neighborhood.

Cute place, lots of options. Some very creative pastries. The seasonal pumpkin ones were adorable! Cold brew was okay. There was one thing I strongly disliked but I can't remember what it was anymore--I feel like it was the pistachio croissant. Pretty expensive but what isn't nowadays? Outdoor tables were very small and wobbly, making it difficult not to spill your coffee. Service was good. Overall it wasn't my favorite cafe but I can't wait to give it another shot! I think I just didn't order the right things for myself, and there's a lot of other things I'm interested in. I recommend coming with a group so you can try a lot of options at once! read more
