The food was good, the service was attentive by European standards, and the ambiance was accessible. Patrons were friendly with staff and vice versa, and it seemed like everyone either knew each other or were like old friends. For us, it was a very romantic dinner. The food quality was good, and it was clear the ingredients were fresh. Initially requested to be seated outdoors for drinks (we arrived prior to 1900, when the kitchen opens for dinner), and we relocated indoors when dinner service began for a slightly warmer space. The staff were very accommodating. Overall, I'm really grateful we stumbled on this gem for our first dinner in Paris. While we don't speak French, the staff were very patient, and we felt welcome.
