We had a 730 pm reservation for the village chalet which seated 6 but there were 9 of us with my 5 year old and baby included! Even though seating was for 6 we were comfortable and even in the winter night pretty warm with the fireplace and blankets that were provided! The experience came with a pre fixed menu you can choose your 4 dishes plus a dessert for each person! Since we were 9 the server was very accommodating and asked if we wanted to choose 2 more items! It can come with an additional cost though to add 2 more dishes but it was PLENTY of food! We were stuffed! We chose the wagyu sliders, cheese board, charcuterie board, chicken pasta, margherita pizza, and cheese fondue! The servings were VERY generous so we did not leave hungry and with leftovers as well! At the end of the meal they give each person a ticket to enjoy complimentary hot chocolate which we indulged in around the corner in a cute little cozy decorated area with fire pits, seating areas and even a cute little igloo! If you want to come for a special occasion with your family or a couple of girlfriends its nice to try at least once! They are usually only open starting up around thanksgiving to early Jan!

I had tried to come here in years past but was never able to grab a reservation. I was able to snag one this year, however it was only for the regular seating, not the chalet. This is located inside the Four Seasons hotel, on the patio area next to the restaurant. The area is decorated with Christmas lights and chalet-style houses for folks to lounge in. We were seated by the large fire in the center of the area, the fire was nice since it was quite cold out, however it started getting too hot - we felt like the flames were getting too close to our face at some points. Unsure if the setting was on too high or if that was by design.... Anyway, on to the food - everything was lackluster. There's a $95 set menu, you get to pick 4 things to share and 1 dessert each. We selected the charcuterie board, fondue set, wagyu sliders, and truffle potato gratin. For dessert, we selected the smores & the lava cake. Since it was my boyfriend's birthday, they also gave us a small cake separately with a candle on top - which was a nice touch. Although the service and experience was fine, the food was not up to par with a 5-star hotel and the 5-star price that accompanied it. I ended up paying ~$250 for a basic meal. Not worth it, wouldn't recommend coming here and I will not be returning.

Unfortunately, my second visit was a major disappointment and a waste of over $150. While the portions are generous, the quality just wasn't there this time. I drove 35 minutes on a Friday hoping for another great meal, but the inconsistency was frustrating. I hope they can get back to their original quality.

I've passed this place countless times walking towards Kinokuniya and I finally had the chance to…read moretry. I ordered there Deluxe curry. I'm throughly disappointed and regret my decision. The katsu meat tasted and smelled of old pork. The egg was meh, kind of on the stiff side. But the worst part was the sauce or roux. No depth, barely any flavor, worst of all, it had this sandy grains, distasteful texture texture, very common when they don't cook the roux correctly without mixing/heating properly resulting in the uneven and left overs that are like sand grains. Again, there was just no flavor profile to the sauce. I tasted no vegetable nor meat being cooked with the sauce and I can tell it was cooked with zero regards. Somehow, it tasted more bland than cooking just the roux blocks with water. The rice was also dry and old. I imagine it wasn't kept warm in the cooker properly or simply just an old batch sitting there forever. The only redeeming quality was the ebi-fry which was somehow creamy and shrimpy and pretty good, which bumps it from like a 1.0 to 1.2 stars. Any random subpar sushi restaurant that seems to servers curry for some reason, still has a better curry than here. I really don't like this phrase, because most people usually overestimate their culinary skills (myself included). But, I could've made a better Japanese curry. In fact I have, and most people can make something better if they follow basic instructions and use actual vegetable and proteins in the cooking. Added to that, portion was tiny for a regular size too. The staff was just unserious and I didn't realize my plate was ready because the cashier staff was just whispering the order when they came out and going straight back to the holding area, I'd imagine probably to play with iPhone or something. Me and the others waiting realized it was ready, only when the chef came out all the way from kitchen and started yelling out with a booming voice of all the order numbers one after another, that were just sitting on the window kitchen window all this time. Thank you chef. The whole experience was shameful, disgusted even. Do not go here. This place is legit 1 star. I haven't seen a place with trash food and trash service this bad in a while. I would've told everyone to go straight to Curry Life few door down instead but sadly, I just realized it closed down. I don't know why they closed down and while this thing is still here. Even then, please, go few streets down to Demiya instead. This place should not be allowed to exist.
