The place was nice and decent prices. Steak and meats were good wine was good too, but then again wine in Argentina is good all around. Service was kind of slow despite there not being a lot of people. Ask for the balcony seating, it has a good view. Remember, in Argentina they don't begin dinner until very late in the evening.

I came here on arrival waiting for a nearby apartment to be ready. I was starving so went for their Macho Argentino. 713 peso in Nov 2018. Equiv at the time US$19.45. Prices adjust OFTEN in Argentina. This plate has an 800 gram Tbone steak! In addition a huge pile of french fries, a fried egg, grilled onion, provoleta, squash puree which was very good, and a pile of vegetable fried rice. It makes for a wonderful photo and was pretty good! It is a lot of food! If you are not familiar with provoleta be sure to get one when in Argentina but not here. The cheese was hardening when served. The best come in an iron pot to keep it soft longer. Provoleta is a melted cheese which needs to be eaten quickly before it cools and hardens. The plates here are very visually appealing. Make for great photos. They also had a huge pepper grinder but it was partly broken and had little to no pepper actually in it. Service is no better than average. This is in close in Recoleta. I like the area.

The waiter's attitude was extremely unkind and exasperated with us because we started out by asking him if they had an English menu. I think that set him off to write us off, we basically received no attention at all. The grilled platter which we ordered was extremely reasonable, but unfortunately the quality of the meat was very poor. I could think that they decreased the quantity of the meat and increased the quality! So I would recommend Parilla Pena on the same street over this place any day!

My partner getting ready to dive into our meal. The salad is out of the frame. :)

Our dinner at La Cholita was massive! We ordered the classic parrilla, which was quite tasty but not mind blowing. The restaurant filled up while we were there and the vibe was quite enjoyable. The waitress also recommended a good wine. Two words of warning - no wifi and no English.

One of my favorite restaurants in Buenos Aires! I've come several times with a large group of around 10 people and we have never been disappointed. If you are coming with a large group, I recommend arriving for dinner as soon as it opens (around 8pm) in order to avoid a wait. The prices are very reasonable and several entrees can be packed home as leftovers. My go-to order is the chicken quesadilla which comes with thick-cut fries!

The foood was amazing. I had the beef de chorizoo. Sooooo godt. The prices are very good also

The food here was awesome! Prices were also reasonable and the ambiance is cute! Biggest dissapointment was the service, quite slow and pretty much non existent except for when our food was brought to us. We had to ask several times for water, it was forgotten all times and finally I just got up and got our own water. The place was empty so I couldn't imagine going there during a busy time. I'd love to go back but I will bring water with me ;)

Hanging with my girl Fabiana.

Every Buenos Aires visit deserves a trip is not complete unless you visit Las Lilas for amazing…read moresteak and dining experience. We were in Buenos Aires for a few days prior to our Antartica Trip and asked our concierge at the Sofitel Hotel where we could go for a true Buenas Aires Steak experience. Without any delay he said that we must try Las Lilas. A simple ride over and beautiful location at the site of their redone area along the riverside. Much like every other city is doing. Restaurants. apartments, shops and lots of young people enjoying themselves. We walked inside this beautiful Steakhouse and elected to sit outside where we could enjoy the beautiful view and atmosphere in lovely warm weather. Let me be frank.... Walking into a beautiful Michelin restaurant is pretty much the same around the world. You walk in with a smile and high expectations. Right here in the beginning I will say that the team and service was impeccable from the beginning. Flawless in my opinion. They came over in introduced themselves while bringing us some water, cheesy bread and taking our drink order Appetizers: Three styles of tomatoes. Selection of cheeses from their very complete collection. Main items: 16oz PIcahna steak (shared) Fried Potatoes (shared) Of course the wine was Malbec which paired so perfectly with all the amazing food. I am not going to go through each item other than saying everything was 'over the top' delicious. My friend said to me that once you've had Buenas Aires Beef you'll never forget the amazing flavor. Even through my wife likes her meat more on the well side, it retained the tenderness and unbelievable flavor. There is definitely a reason that a place like this become a Michelin Restaurant. Cabaña Las Lilas is flawless and judging from the look on the faces of the other diners around us.... They thought so too. Please see the pictures I added. Many people shared as the portions are very generous. KUDOS to the team at Cabaña Las Lilas
