Tried this neighborhood Mexican spot on the recommendation of a friend. I was told that they stay crowded so the food and drinks much be good. At arrival they offer valet parking but it was 5:15pm on a Thursday so the available self-parking was plentiful. The staff entering the restaurant were very friendly. We were seated immediately and the server was quick to take orders. I ordered a 24-ounce strawberry frozen "house" margarita and my friend ordered a 24-ounce top shelf margarita on the rocks. We requested chips and salsa be brought to the table after it wasn't initially. I ordered the shrimp nachos which were okay. The refried been a on the taco salad we're very overwhelming. My friend ordered the carne asada fries. The margarita was also just okay, tequila taste was faint to me. However my drink after adding the strawberry flavor was $20.99. It was not worth that to me. My friend's top shelf margarita was $26. The music in the restaurant was fun and energizing and they offer hookah. When we arrived the music playing is what I expected to hear in a Mexican restaurant. Then around 7pm they started playing more trap style music (thought that was odd but maybe it was based on their clientele). If you like taking pictures and or selfies, there are lots of dope spots around the restaurant that allow you to do that. Lastly this is not a family restaurant. They definitely advertise 21 years and up and we saw them checking IDs at the door and politely turning away customers arriving with children. My friend and I came here on an off day since when we attempted to come here for cinco de mayo it was an absolute fail (a 5 hour wait? For who?). First of all, there is a $10 charge to valet in their itty bitty parking lot. I think some people chance it and park in surrounding lots so i guess do that at your own risk. The vibe of the place is cool-it's a mix of hip hop and Latin music played. They have hookah-if im not mistaken it was $40. It was pretty good. Both my friend and I ordered the tacos-mine were of the Birria variety. They were just okay. The sauce that goes with them saves them. The drinks were decent. First and last time coming here. Came here because of an ig post. I read the reviews and everyone had the same issue. Well same thing for me. The $10 valet didn't bother me because it was a busy Friday night. My problem was the service. The host sat us fast but didn't say anything to us. Didn't tell us to scan the menu or that our server be with us soon. We waited 20 minutes before anyone came to our table and most of the servers were in the back laughing and standing around. We asked about 4 different servers if someone was coming and they brushed us off and said someone is coming or she is busy. The a Mexican couple was seated at the table next to us 15 minutes after us and someone came to them right away. Finally a server came and apologized that they just told her that we were at the table. She was very nice and helpful. Very attentive. Food came out fast. The food was ok. The guacamole was not good at all. It had no seasoning at all, no onion. The complimentary salsa was good. The Texas Margarita was strong but super sweet. So I had to add lime juice to it. The Chicken Birria taco was better than the beef. The beef just need a little bit more seasoning. Had we not waited so long I would've given it another chance. read more

For starters, this is in Marietta and they require you to "valet" for 10 dollars, and then when you leave they will just have you walk to your car that they have pulled on the curb right in front of the restaurant We sat outside and it was filthy. Trash everywhere on the ground (4pm on a Sunday) The food is very subpar and overpriced. I honestly don't expect to pay over $100 for two (and only one alcoholic beverage) to receive salsa in a styrofoam cup... When it was time to cash out, our waitress had us come up to the hostess stand, as she mentioned her portable terminal didn't get Wi-Fi on the patio. When we paid at the hostess stand and began walking to the car, she came running out questioning us of paying, we had to prove it to her by showing the receipt. Even after making eye contact with the hostess who checked us in and saw no one came to the table, no one seemed eager to provide menus or take an order. Finally had to just go to the bar. The key word is SPORTS BAR! Its not your typical Mexican restaurant with decor and atmosphere if that's what you're looking for but it was fun. Its a 21+ restaurant that checks ID upon arrival. They have a nice patio for outside seating and another entrance near the bar area. For those into hookah, they offer it for $40 or if you want flavors, its extra. My friend & I sat at the bar, ordered a pitcher of Casamigos margarita. It was really good. I would suggest ordering a pitcher because their glasses are very small for a $10-$15 margarita. For entrees, I ordered birria tacos with consume. My friend ordered birria nachos with all the toppings (lettuce, pico, sour cream, queso) on side with a side of guacamole and consume. Food was delicious! Service: Bartender was all over the place! He had a lot going on with the high top tables in the bar area. But he was still very attentive. One star off is due to the parking lot being very small. They should consider expanding to use the parking lots close by to receive more clientele. Let me start off by saying the 3 stars is from paying for valet and half of my meal being mediocre. I wish I could give 3.5. We came in on an early Sunday afternoon and they were already charging $10 to valet park. I've never had to pay for parking at a Mexican restaurant that isn't in downtown Atlanta. Where they do that at??? Hard pass on that and we parked at the Burger King. There were probably 10 people in there so the charge for parking seems excessive. Anywho, they had a DJ which was cool and he was playing what I think is called Reggaeton. Upbeat latin music. They have tv's everywhere but I think they will only play one show on all of the TVs. Today was soccer. We ordered the cheese dip with jalapenos which got cold pretty quickly but still decent. I ordered the shredded beef birria tacos with the dipping sauce which was actually pretty good. He ordered the shrimp quesadilla with veggies which was decent but the rice and beans were cold. I'm assuming they were probably put on the plate first while everything else was being cooked. My server was HOT though :-) Love the cute outfits which was the main reason why we stopped in here from seeing it on IG. She was friendly and attentive. Removed us from the restaurant when we were waiting for our Uber in the midst of human trafficking month with multiple random cars roaming the space and only a 5 minute wait time. The service was poor.Our drinks and food was delayed but tasty. Our waitress had an attitude because all of the employees privileges were revoked due to unprofessional behavior. Including the following: sex in the restroom, public nudity, profanity related to the workspace, inebriation to the point of an escort out. If i was able to post the video of the employees from this evening i would. The most frustrating aspect was management and security as they did not take the inebriated co-workers out until they became too erratic but decided to kick my sisters and i out 5 mins out before official closing time because they didnt want to wait. I didn't notice "chair" until it was time to leave. My jacket and pants were ruined with sour cream and lettuce due to them not cleaning prior to seating us. Customer service at a all time low waitresses were inattentive. Beware! There's no return on drinks or food even if it's under/over cooked or not made incorrectly. Me and my friends came here for food and drinks. I'm a little frustrated because this really could've gotten 5 stars. But a few things fell short to me. One when we arrived they had valet, but was charging for valet. I didn't think that was fair seeing that it was early in the day and it's a local eatery far outside the city limits. Especially when a peer restaurant up the street doesn't charge for parking. Next, the service was so slow in-spite of it being pretty empty and early before the evening rush. The frustration piled on because they were the typical Atlanta lounge/bar environment but not in a good way. Bad service and charging for valet, when this is Marietta. Your bags/purse will be checked, the music will be loud and the non-alcoholic mixed drinks will be overpriced. I literally drank pineapple juice with whipped cream for $12! Once you get past the scene, there's the food. Hmmm. My tacos were on the dry side and not as flavorful as I'd imagined they'd be. Then because my cousin complained she told her bartenders to not serve her anymore. She had one beer and one shot and was cut off because of a complaint that was legitimate. The manager was rude as hell, we waited about 45 mins on a hookah and an hour on food that actually never came that we had to take off our tab before leaving. I had my bday party at this place now I know if I walk in and she's the manager I'll be walking back out. She's a horrible representative of this establishment.
