My friend went in to the store to try it first and was bragging about it so much that I had to try it for myself. I was not disappointed! I ordered a few mini pies to go while in store. I purchased blueberry crumble, three berry crumble, sour Cherry crumble and apple crumble. My top two favorite crumbles thus far is Sour Cherry and Three berry. The crust is handmade and a good on its own. The fruit is sweet but not overdone and the crumble is what really makes the pie delectable! The service was quick, easy and pleasant. The pies are made fresh daily and from the few times I went in, always readily available. They are packaged neatly with an ingredient label on the front. The ambiance of the store is cozy and historic. I say historic because if you look closely you will see aged treasured recipe books, tools that shaped modern baking techniques/technology and vintage bake shop signs. Each recipe book more than likely has been passed down through generations and tools that touched many hands to make these delicious pies. From the photos below it's a rustic shop. There is no seating available, it's more of a place to pick up and go. I will certainly be returning and telling anyone who will listen about Sweet Chef Southern Style Bakery! I appreciated the spicy kick and it was a big hit with young and old. Sadly, I tried to repurchase recently and was told it was an autumn special. I've tried their banana choc chip cake loaf as well, and love that the banana taste really comes through. Not too sweet. In terms of customer space, this location is teeny with lots of offerings so you often see people hanging out outside waiting for some space to clear to place an order. My friend recommended me checking out your bakery. I was very disappointed to find a missing piece from one of my sugar cookies with sprinkles on top as if someone ate it. The missing piece was not in the bag. I enclosed pics of the cookies when I sent this message to Mr Lee. I also ordered a mixed berries pie and a peach pecan pie. The fork that was placed in the bag has crumbs on it like someone ate from it then was placed in my bag. Both of the issues are sanitary issues. Maybe you can purchase your utensils in a plastic sleeve with a napkin enclosed. I hope I hear back from you regarding this issue.
