Local sourcing shines, with vegetables treated as seriously as proteins and sauces that elevate without overwhelming. The cubist interior is modern and artistic yet comfortable, and the service is knowledgeable, relaxed, and genuinely engaged. With its spot on the Michelin website, the recognition feels well earned. A place you return to for both creativity and consistency. Highly recommended.

However when coming back for our third time, we found ourselves still hungry after one entree, one main, one desert. The menu no longer offers the side dishes (a pity) but main courses won't include much extra other than the main product - which is how you will find yourself still hungry after dinner. A pity! This now means that you are not getting your money's worth in your plate, regardless of how delicious the food is. Shame.

Since…read moremoving to Brussels, I've only tried Chi-Chis, which in my opinion, is a poor excuse for Mexican food! So when a friend told me about this place, I couldn't wait to try it! Located off of Louise, nice location (for me as I live not so far from this resto) but further from the center. Restaurant is definitely more upscale, not the usual kitchy restaurant decor I encounter at almost every Mexican place back in the US. To get down to business: the food was excellent! Just what I was hoping for! When you are in groups, I definitely recommend getting the Ponchitos, where you each get to eat a taco, fajita, quesadilla and burrito along with some great salas/sauces. If you like a kick make sure to try the hot sauce they give you in a tiny bowl (beware, that stuff is hot!). They can make this in a vegetarian version as well (thanks!), after eating all this I really was stuffed....now, price-wise, this was definitely more expensive than I'm used to paying (for wine and the ponchitos it came out to 35eur pp). They do give a bit of free bread with some salsa, but I was hoping for some tortilla chips with some salsa...the guacamole and chips was a bit pricey (8 eur) for a starter. Definitely worth a try if you like Mexican, I know I'll be back!

I have been to Mi Tango in different occasions (lunch break, work dinner, informal dinner) and I'm afraid it is a pretty dissapointing place. The atmosphere is nice. The service is fine too. However, the food is not. I have tried a bit of everything. The asado was as stiff as a shoe sole, hard to chew and particularly tasteless. The burgers were of awful quality, like the frozen burgers you buy in Aldi. The side vegetables were awful too and obviously all frozen with no dressing. Furthermore, it is not cheap for what they serve. I think this is a wasted opportunity. The place is right in the middle of the Eurobubble and they are the only Argentinian or South-American choice in the neighbourghood. They could exploit way better their uniqueness instead of cutting costs on food. Disappointing.

Also the cheese wasn't good: it was announced as parmigiano while it was pecorino (or grano padano?), and it was dry (possibly from the crust?). However! The owner came out and explained the cheese came from a bag and that they didn't always test bags upon opening. He totally agreed with our opinion and replaced the cheese. Additionally, he didn't charge us for the vongole because "She hasn't eaten anything". Very client-friendly experience thus! (And I repeat: loooove the octopus :))

The wait-staff is friendly and the food was brought quickly and efficiently. As starters we all took different things. Empanadas, sausage, Iberico ham, chorizo, Japanese salmon tartar and some anti-pasti. They were really good quality and in my opinion good value for money. The side dishes with the main course on the other hand were so so. Really tiny not really well baked potato, fries that were average, some vegetables. The portobello mushrooms announced in the menu is in fact one mushroom upside down covered in molten cheese. Desert was a 'moelleux au chocolat' for two of us and apple tart with dulce de leche. Both were good but not great which brings me to the issue with this place. The local specialities served are really good quality but the dishes are all formulaic. The iberico ham is great for example but just thinly sliced on a wooden board. The chocolat brownie is left in the ramekin, not quite the right consistency, the apple tart is not home made. The other thing that didnt go right was that after serving the food the wait staff ignored us. Now I wouldnt mind but they placed the wine bottle out of reach! I would go back for the meat - it was great great quality.
