Ordered delicious guacamole made fresh with diced tomatoes and cilantro; added a little salt to enhance the tomato flavor. Lunch special was a quite delicious crispy-on-the-outside-succulent-on-the-inside mini-Chimichanga filled with savory marinated chicken with Queso cheese accompanied with sides of sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, Spanish rice and not-too-fatty retried beans. My lunch Fajitas tasted wonderful as well, especially the marinated chicken has a playful Mexican flavor.

For context, I am a Mexican American from San Antonio,TX, and I make many of the dishes on their menu. It must be said that whether you decide on seafood, nachos, birria, enchiladas or burritos, your taste buds will be delighted and very happy. I ate the Camarones à la Diabla (spicy shrimp), and their Ranchero Sauce is probably the best I've had! The flavors were addicting, the rice perfectly cooked and flavored, and the shrimp was perfectly prepared! Drink selections abound AND they have aguas frescas too!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Katriniaz!!!

Decent Mexican food considering how far it is from the Mexico border…read more We stopped for lunch; my wife chose the #5 Lunch Special (Chicken Quesadilla) - while I opted for a different Chicken Quesadilla at slightly higher price. Hers had shredded chicken in it, and mine had Fajita Chicken. Both were hearty portions, with modest cheese inside. Mine also had melted cheese poured over the top. Neither was 'smashed down' to allow eating with your hands - as traditional Quesadillas are. Odd, but tasty and filling. Our Chips, Salsa, and Queso appetizer was also good. The prices were low, snd service was good. We recommend it!

My mom ordered steak enchiladas and the meat was the consistency of canned corn beef and had a weird, sweet flavor. The rice and beans were pretty good, but that's disappointing that this was the best part of the meal. We agreed we should have just gone to Taco Bell, because the food would have been higher quality. The service was good and we did not wait long for our food. The restaurant itself looked very pretty and has a nice ambiance, but it was the end of the night and they were cleaning. The restaurant smelled like bleach while we were eating which was not appetizing.

Parking was easy and while the restaurant was busy I was seated immediately. Chips and salsa came almost as quickly. My sweet tea was very tasty and the chips were fresh. A rather pedestrian item, but I wasn't hungry, per se. The shell was crisp and freshly cooked. The chicken was plentiful and the other parts of the salad were fresh and delicious. I will return when I'm back in town or maybe one more time this week. A gem of a place.
