August 22, 2026 - Cedar Crest, NM…read more I've stayed at this RV park a few times over the years, and I keep coming back because I enjoy its rustic charm. Surrounded by hills and offering some nice views, it has a relaxed, old-fashioned feel that I really like. There are quite a few long-term RVers, but we stayed in the short-term section and had most of it to ourselves. You can hear some road noise from Highway 14, although it wasn't too bothersome. There's also a gravel road that runs past the park. It doesn't get much traffic, but the cars and trucks that do use it tend to drive pretty fast, kicking up quite a bit of dust. I like the overall feel and location of this park. Each night we were there, we were lucky enough to see lightning and hear some spectacular, rolling thunder--an added bonus to our stay. The park is right along the Turquoise Trail and is conveniently located for exploring Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Madrid, and Sandia Crest. The restrooms and showers are older and rustic. The showers use tokens, and the staff provides some tokens when you check in. Overall, this is a rustic RV park with plenty of character. It may not have all the modern amenities of a newer resort-style park, but I enjoy its peaceful setting, great location, and laid-back atmosphere. I'm sure I'll stay here again.
