Here's the deal, you can't please all the people all of the time. I've personally worked in the dealer world and fully understand, some people can just never be pleased. This is the type of people leaving these sh*t reviews. To the point: Daniel made my purchase fun, easy and well worth the cross country trip for an amazing deal on a amazing car. I'd do it again in a heartbeat! The car was just as it was shown online. Every detail was very well explained and literally handed to me on paper. It made the purchase very simple and worry free. As their name implies, they take cash for cars and will buy them for cash too! Daniels dad and the owner of the dealership even made a special appearance just for me during this COVID crisis to come meet me after flying in from Colorado. Great people, great overall experience! I just wish I could have stayed longer and gotten to know these characters better. I have bought used cars from auctions, big city dealers and small town hole in the walls.. even though I will admit I had some doubts before coming out to meet them, this was by far my best car purchasing experience. I was interested in getting a compact car to drive around so I went looking online for a few weeks. I came into Del Mar Auto LLC with my girlfriend and brother and walked around the lot of the dealership, no one approached us until we walked past the office and he ran out to greet us. I originally wanted different car, but once that didn't work out, Tim offered us different options and really knew his facts - how much the price would be will depend on my down payment and not my credit. And I don't have that great credit history but he made it simple and easy to understand. We spent 2 hours at the dealership total, and Tim was extremely patient and helpful. He offered many different options and was very open to letting us see and test-drive multiple cars. Since it was a big purchase for me I had to think long and hard, but it seemed like Tim didn't mind. Definitely wasn't pushy! Once we decided on the car, Tim had us sit and start the paperwork. Overall, the dealership was great. Nice location, nice atmosphere and complete customer satisfaction. Definitely don't regret buying my car here! And you should check it out. I am also a veteran and he served me with honor and dignity never pushing for the sale and that is why I decided to purchase a used car from Del Mar Auto LLC!

Then he tells me a guy from Puerto Rico bought the car and wired the money. He pissed me off and I cussed him out. A day or two later he called me and asked if I wanna still buy it and he put a purchase agreement together and sent it to me. I signed it and sent it back. Schedules for an inspection. He agreed. Then two hours later he cancel inspection and says his boss has a friend that wants the car. That is your bosses problem. He needs to wait until after I finish my inspection the next day. The sales staff, including: Ron the GM, Mario the manager, Paul the finance director and Gabriel, my salesman, made the leasing process comfortable and stress-free, taking the time to answer my questions and remain patient when I conferred with ChatGPT and friends for sales advice and support. The service department has been equally outstanding. They are efficient and meticulously organized and treated me with kindness and respect. It's clear that Subaru values their customers and takes pride in providing excellent service. I love my Forester Wilderness, and I appreciate knowing that I have a dealership I can trust. Then, by chance, we met Rose--a warm, knowledgeable, mature, and gracious sales consultant. I wasn't sure a Kia was the right choice, so I continued looking at other dealerships and speaking with other salespeople. But no one made us feel the same confidence, care, and trust that Rose did. As someone who had recently come to the United States to study and gain work experience, I was unfamiliar with car financing and the importance of building credit here. Rose patiently explained the process and helped me understand how I could buy a car while beginning to build my credit. My mother and I returned to Kia Santa Monica because we trusted Rose's advice. She took the time to understand my needs, explain my options, and help me choose the right car. She even came in on her day off to assist us. Thanks to her guidance, I was able to buy my first new car in America and take an important first step toward building my credit. My mother was delighted, and I was so excited. When I later returned to the dealership to look for her to get a car for my brother, I learned that Rose no longer worked there. I was genuinely disappointed. I couldn't imagine working with anyone else after the care and support she had given us. Rose made the experience feel personal. She looked after me with the kindness and guidance of an older sister, and my mother felt she had found not just a wonderful sales consultant, but a friend. Rose cared about helping me choose the right car and feel confident in my decision--not simply making a sale. Buying my first car in America was an unforgettable experience because of Rose. She is a true gem, and I will always be grateful for her help.

General Motors has recognized this problem and issued TSB 25-NA-069 to cover the fix at no cost to the customer. When I initially reached out to Jeff Parr and subsequently visited the office in person, both Jeff and the associate sitting next to him were extremely unhelpful, rude, and arrogant. Neither was aware of the bulletin, wouldn't believe & respect my request and instead of assisting me, they spent time lecturing me about not believing internet searches for information. The situation was only resolved when a gentleman from the back office stepped in, he listened to me and located GM's official correction order, and addressed the issue. The dismissive and unprofessional behavior exhibited by Jeff Parr and his colleague reflects poorly on the service Dept/dealership. I urge management to investigate this matter and address the staff involved to ensure other customers are treated with respect.
