Staples are available in bulk or individually (such as rice). You'll find Indian souvenirs behind the counter. There's also more than an aisle of packaged spices. I don't dabble much in Indian spices, but someone with spice needs would love this place. Indian spices linger in the air adding a dash of authenticity to this market visit. The inventory is plentiful but not logically organized. For instance, I found sweets in multiple different aisles. The prices for products are not well labeled on the shelves or on the products. It's hard to tell the prices until checkout. If you frequent this market, it would be intuitive, but as a first timer, prepare to spend time here. I liked that the entire market focused on only Indian food without introducing other cultures. I got some rice, a chickpea stew and some frozen aloo that I can put in the air fryer. I love Indian food and I'm super excited to try these quick options. I also got a some green chili chutney and some delicious chocolate cookies! The attendant was friendly and helped me choose between two different stews to make my take home meal!

There's a few large bottles for about $2, and these are pretty large. Besides the beer they also have lots of coffee and pop. They have some varieties that you can't find anywhere else like it seems. Among the food is lots and lots of candy. It's about $2 for a good size bag and there's lots to choose from. The ingredients are in different languages but includes English too. It even has a produce section and the fruits and vegetables look fresh. They have a very large deli section. Cool place for getting European food. It can be hard to find because it's hard to see. Rather than running to Amazon when I needed a special spice, I scoured Yelp for local groceries that might have what I was looking for, and I found even more than I hoped to at Patel Brothers! I noticed immediately the store is spare, but clean and very organized. It was very easy to find the items I was looking for, and I was especially pleased to find they had fresh produce as well. I was really excited to find curry leaves here, which is used in a lot of Indian cooking, but I typically have a hard time finding them. At just $1 a bag. I felt like I hit the jackpot! I brought my husband along as well, and he stocked up on the great selection of snacks they had. I was also able to find all the spices I was looking for: Kashmiri chili powder, amchoor powder, and chaat masala. My only dismay was that all the spices are sold in pretty big bags, which I think would be appropriate for a family who uses these spices every day, but it would have been great if they had a bulk option instead so I can get a smaller amount. In any case, we came out with a great haul, and the cashier even offered us a freshly made samosa on our way out, which was delicious.
