Came to La Corona as a recommendation from a native Sevillan!…read more Ordered the presa iberica, it was served at room temperature with salt flakes and a delicate sauce. And it was incredible. One of the best things I've eaten in Sevilla. Still hungry; we ordered the carpaccio de buey, served with a sprinkling of similar salt flakes and nueces, or nuts. The flavor was absolutely amazing, I could've eaten the whole thing myself. Hands down best carpaccio I've ever eaten. Will be back!

Came here with 4 girls for a drink which quickly turned into a couple drinks and munching…read more Food: AMAZING.Our table got the solomillo with apple compote, brie, and alioli (3 euro a piece) // papas bravas (3.5 euros) // roast beef sandwich // caesar salad // calzone romero. I don't remember the rest of the prices since I didn't order them haha. I tried the first two. I died eating the solomillo. It was an amazing blend of savory and sweet and crunchy (the bread was toasted) and soft (cheese). It was perfect. The papas bravas were piping hot and the sauce was just right. I didn't try the other dishes but my friends seemed to really enjoy them. A 25cl Cruzcampo was only 1 euro, which was what drew us in in the first place. Ambiance: Busy and lively. We didn't have any trouble getting a table for 5 but it quickly filled up thereafter and there was a steady stream of guests peeking in for open tables. Service: The guy was super attentive and it seemed like he and the other waitress worked well together to serve their tables. He was always smiling even though all the tables were filled, which we appreciated. I would recommend to everyone. Do yourself a favor and try the solomillo. Seriously.

I don't think this place really needs another glowing review, but here I am. I stumbled upon it…read morecompletely by chance on the first day of the arrival, after a long drive, simply because it was close to where I stayed. I knew nothing about it at the time, so I wasn't surprised later when I checked Yelp and saw how consistently praised it is. The restaurant sits directly across from the stunning Baroque San Luis de los Franceses (18th century). From the moment I walked in to ask about the menu and timing, the team was incredibly welcoming and patient, carefully explaining how everything works. We took a short walk to explore the neighborhood, got lost on the way back, and somehow found our way back just in time before the restaurant closing. Despite that, the staff remained warm and accommodating, especially when helping us navigate the wine and jerez selections. I was too tired and out of practice with my Spanish, so I reluctantly switched to English, and it was still completely fine. The food was outstanding, exactly as everyone says. There are no substitutions, and once you've eaten there, you understand why! Everything is intentional. They go out of their way to accommodate you within their philosophy and to make the whole "slow food" experience feel thoughtful, relaxed, and special.

Stopped by to have a late lunch (recommended by a local tour guide) and we were simply swept off…read moreour seats with the creative, delicious and whole-heartedly inspired cuisine we were served. La Locanda di Andrea - Mediterranean Salad with vegan feta option

We loved this place! Well prepared, delicious dishes, served efficiently and friendly. Eclectic,…read morefunky decor was fun too. Excellent tiramisu after pasta, hot and tasty!

Delicious Italian - no matter your dietary restrictions!…read more I came here after reading reviews and seeing from the menu that they accommodate dietary restrictions. I have to be gluten-free and dairy-free, but I still had a good meal here! Their menu is available in Spanish or English and they use symbols to denote vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. I'm not sure why it's not marked on the menu, but I'd seen a review that their gnocchi is the gluten-free pasta option, so I asked about it when we got there. If you're gluten-free, mention it and ask about gluten-free gnocchi (not sure if all their gnocchi are gluten-free or if it's different). They have two vegan pasta options and three gnocchis, but they're good so if you have any dietary restrictions I'm sure you'll still enjoy what you have here. What we ordered: -Mediterranean Salad: Spring mix with tomato, raisins, and Gorgonzola (subbed vegan feta - I think they use Violife which is good) with a red pepper vinaigrette. It had an interesting mix of flavors, but I would've preferred the tomatoes to be incorporated into the salad (I think it was more form over function), possibly using a San Marzano tomato sliced in halves would've been better. Pine nuts and or bits of olive could've complemented the flavor too. It was nice to have something fresh to go with the meal. The dressing was light but nice and tangy. It was decently large so we shared it as a side salad for both (large for a side for one). -Gnocchi Gorgonzola: This is what my mom ordered, so it isn't dairy-free, but she enjoyed it! -Gnocchi Pesto Pugliese: I ordered this. It's vegan and gluten-free (I said gluten-free gnocchi, but again, not sure if all the gnocchi is gluten-free or it was different). The gnocchi was doughy but not too mushy and the sauce was light with little bits of crushed almond and pine nuts throughout. Sort of like a sundried tomato pesto. It was good and I was happy to have an option, but it was a bit simple so I added some of the vegan feta from our salad and bits of the complementary olives to it to add more flavor. I think it could have used the extra cheese, larger bits of nut to add more texture, or Italian sausage crumbles (obviously this wouldn't be vegan, but if I were to remake the dish at home). You're just missing something crispy and textured or a richness. If you're dairy-free or vegan and need an option, it's nice to have this. The gnocchis were generous and we each took home half our portion as leftovers. If I didn't have dietary restrictions, we could've shared one along with the salad. They have a good selection of Spanish wines available by glass or bottle. We didn't have a reservation but were seated immediately. The staff was very nice and it was a nice environment.
