We have spent a fantastic week at La Bruciata! The hospitality received from Laura & her family is incomparable. Laura has a huge binder with tons of information, suggestions & recommendations. Plus she will make all your reservations for you.
We were welcomed warmly on the day that we arrived. Our apartment was absolutely spotless! The bed is extremely comfortable and afforded us a great nights sleep every evening. The bathroom is larger than any we have experienced in Europe. The shower is fantastic with great water pressure and a steam feature as well.
On our first evening, we were treated to a delicious four course welcome dinner including their own wine! Each morning, we started our day with a light breakfast that was included as well. Several home grown fruits, homemade marmalades, homemade juices... See a pattern? All fresh and delicious. You also had a choice of you girt, cereals, and a hot option that varied daily. For your coffee, you had a choice of espresso, cappuccino, and even Americano. But seriously, who opts for American coffee in Italy?
The grounds are impeccable and the views are amazing. We were fortunate enough to be there for the grape harvest and were able to take part in that. Sadly, I was not able to stomp the grapes like in I Love Lucy!
They even have a rather large pool which is open during warmer months. I can recommend La Bruciata wholeheartedly and I can not wait to return!
