When we were called we were moved to the main dining area which was adorable. Nearly every table had unique artwork on the surrounding walls. We then ordered more of the same wine, the Bonaccia salad, and the Parmigiana di Melanzane con Ricotta Salata. The salad was SO good. It was perfect with lemon and delicious olive oil dressing and an even mix of lettuce, cooked diced potatoes, olives, octopus, sundried cherry tomatoes. The eggplant was a fantastic texture, not too soft but tender and the cheese on it was immaculate. We were too full for dessert but the waiter offered us free limoncello shots as a night cap. My favorite part of this spot was how fun and kind the staff were to us. Letting me practice my Italian, giving great recommendations and overall being super accomodating. I'd love to come back.

With low light and candles on the table, the ambiance was as romantic as it gets. The door was propped open and beautiful music wafted in from around the corner. We started by sharing the tonnarelli pasta which had cacio cheese, lemon, mint, and Sichuan pepper. My first course was followed by duck with apricots and a caramelized raspberry reduction. The duck was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the sweetness from the fruit and reduction that were paired with it. I ended the night with a strawberry semifreddo that was cold and refreshing. On night two, the dining room was packed and we had the option of taking the last seat by the door or eating in their bakery next door. We opted for the bakery. They started us with bruschetta and olives and then we split the maltagliati with white ragu sauce, red pepper cream, and pecorino cheese. It was "lick the bowl" delicious! I got the chicken thighs stuffed with tomatoes and olives and served with a balsamic vinegar reduction, which was full of flavor. On our last night in Italy, I couldn't pass on a proper tiramisu.
