This place has cuban and mexican food. We were craving Mexican. We had tacos, burritos and enchiladas. Not super authentic but good. We had a pleasant evening here. It is really hard to get rice and beans in Buenos Aires read more

Unfortunately, the drinks didn't quite live up to the hype compared to other cocktail bars we tried that day. White Jasmine ($11,500 ARS): Heraclito London Dry Gin, Cardamom, Lemon Honey, Jasmine Tea (ABV 18.8%). Better than the 1869. You can pick up the flavors, but the lemon honey aftertaste was a bit too strong. 1869 ($12,500 ARS): Havana 7 Rum, Zuelo Torrontés Vinegar, Dates, Pomegranate (ABV 19.6%). Sweet, but the alcohol flavor overpowered everything else. Also, the foam topping was too heavy.

This place is THE SPOT to go to when in Buenos Aires, hands down. From the outside, it appears to be nothing but a nondescript falafel shop, but across from the counter where you order shawarma, there is a woman sitting in a chair and you simply approach her and ask if the bar is open. She lets you in through a secret door, and you're immediately transported to another world and time. It's the best thing ever. By the time we arrived, we'd already had dinner and ice cream for dessert, so we weren't hungry but instead perused the drink menu and found some excellent options. Not only are the decor and drinks on point, but the music really made this an excellent experience. They played everything from Macy Gray to Fleetwood Mac to Tina and even some Michael Jackson. Whatever you do, when I'm BA, you MUST check this place out!

The Drinks: - Lemon Tree cocktail (Smirnoff citrus mixed gently with mint, passion fruit, lemon, and with a dose of redcurrant liqueur): This was a very delicious drink. I do recommend it. The Venue: - A great venue to come and grab a drink. The music is loud enough to enjoy it, but low enough to have a good conversation with friends. A great mix. They have three areas to sit (the bar area, some tables and couches on the main area, and an outdoor area). - Wednesdays: It is a great venue to come on Wednesdays. They have a two for the price of one offer $240 ARS ($4.02 USD) for two cocktails. Great value! The only catch is that you have to buy (1) two of the same cocktail; and (2) at the same time. So either have a friend, or be like me and buy both at once. You will not regret it. Upshot: A solid bar to check out in Palermo Soho. I came here by myself on a Wednesday and made two friends. Great vibe. They could've used another bartender, but honestly, he was doing a great job with the volume. We waited less than 10 minutes for our food to come out, which was nice, and decided to sit outside under the heated morning. I was truly impressed by the size of the burgers. My burger featured a thick fried mozzarella layer on top the double burgers with marinara sauce and I couldn't get enough of it! My friend had the Trifuerza and it also looked amazing with a fried egg and meat stacked high. Both burgers were absolutely beastly and mouthwatering.
