Never ever go to this restaurant. This is the worst experience I had in my all life. After having a very arrogant waiter. That said That he fixed the unstable table the morning and he knew that he did it so he did not understand why we were asking to fix it . And when my mom asked what was a mustelle in the fish menu, Then waiter the responded. This is a fish. I asked if for an extra If can change my musles with cantaloupe in the menu the waiter said straight no. So we asked if we were bothering him. I asked to pay my bottle of water and the 2 sodas we ordered. So I go to the bar and let them know that the service is awful and we want to pay and leave. The barman asked me if this the black waiter that served us. I told him I won't describe someone by his skin color. So the barman asked the owner to come and the waiter as well. I explained to him what happened, I asked him can you charge me and I want to leave. So I paid for 2 sodas and a bottle of water 15.10 euro. The owner said you don't even speak French. I told him I'm living in America and sorry to have used the term charger instead of fracturer. He said I'm corse and go to your country. All the people in the restaurant were so in shock and some people agreed to us that service was very bad. He said you are like Obama and Sarkozy and you don't know how to speak screaming in me. I have never experienced something like this and I was even thinking the guy was gonna beat me. Please avoid any experience like this do not support this people. This is I think so far my first bad review I write in yelp. In 4 years. Hopefully I could not put negative stars read more

Nice service people, tasty food like burgers and pizza for hungry children, DJ, cool live music from the "fire" bar, party feeling and expensive as everything else in Bonifacio. Like. read more

The restaurant Il Peperone indeed offers very well done and large pizzas in a nice atmosphere - at our evening (Sunday) they even had live music. Not suprisingly the two pizzas along with two soft drinks were not that inexpensive as thought, but rather turned out with a seating fee of each EUR 7.00 and on top with a 12% service fee to be the most expensive in our lifetime. Too much in our perception!
