We ordered a few appetizers - the carpaccio was delicious, as were the oysters and octopus. The sourdough bread would have kept me happy all by itself. We shared the Paella amongst the 4 of us and it was delicious. The whole experience was fantastic and would go back in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and stop by. The 2nd floor location would provide for some great views in summer.

Fun little stop on the Great Ocean Road in Apollo Bay…read more We ordered the Mushroom burger, the Aussie burger and kids burger with loaded fries. The mushroom burger has no meat. It is a large battered mushroom dressed like a burger. Good bun, batter and flavor. The Aussie burger is a joy. Over easy egg, beets, pineapple on a nice bun. The yoke coats the burger when you push down on it. Wonderful. Kids burger was good sized and tasty according to my daughter. Fries/chips were great plain or loaded with cheese and ham. The rockstar of the meal is mac&cheese. It is savory with sweet pickles. So unexpectedly wonderful. Just order it. Stellar place.

This is one of the only fine dining options in Apollo Bay - even with a captive audience, they do great to keep punters coming back! They have accommodation on site, though we came especially for dinner. For entrees we had mussels and the chargrilled octopus. The mussels were piping hot and delicious - the homemade dip on the side was super tasty! Chargrilled octopus was very tender, seared with tahini and a fun sweet potato and chickpeas combo. I had a seafood soup for mains - this was chock full of great seafood (including half a crab! Yum!) - the broth again was steaming hot - may have continued to cook some of the seafood in the bowl, but overall very delicious. M had the veal which was also pretty tasty. The chips on the side were average, nothing to write home about. Decent selection on the wine list of regional and Mediterranean wines, not many by the glass though. The view must be spectacular during the day, but at night there's not much to be seen. If you are looking for a fine dining option in Apollo Bay, give this place a try!

Hip vibe, fast counter service and delicious Asian food make this a hit and safe bet for anyone…read morewanting a quick tasty meal. The decor is fun, the music was great. We had two of the sushi rolls - a tuna avocado and a crumbed prawn. Both were a tad too cold to really taste any flavors other than the nori and soy dipping sauce. We also order the steamed buns after our meal since we shared the pork ribs and the buns were okay - the filling was a non-descript meat - was it beef or pork? It had some chunky yellow onion pieces and was not terrible, it really did not have enough flavor. It lacked salt, scallions or chives or garlic and definitely was missing ginger. So that was the low point of the meal. We started with chicken satay which was fried (second time in the three weeks that we have seen that!) and it was almost crunchy, nicely seasoned and had a very tasty peanut sauce that was not too sweet. Our main was pork rinds with sweet sauce and it did not disappoint. The ribs were tender and well seasoned, fried again for service which gave them an interesting light crispiness. The sauce was delicious and we are all of it with rice. We saw some stir fried flat noodle and rice bowls going by and they looked great. Works highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys Asian food.

Despite asking the front desk multiple times to have it cleared, our requests were ignored, and staff argued that the table was 'in use.' Disappointing management and hygiene standards." Furthermore, the menu exhibits a strong bias and carries blatantly hostile narratives directed at Asian (specifically Chinese) people. As a result, I will be submitting a formal complaint against this establishment and will pursue it until they rename or remove the offensive recipe title.
