The naming of the spa is a little confusing and you may end up at the tanning salon next door but once you get here, it is absolutely nice. It's worth the prices and their masseuses are trained. My friend and I looked at this place on a whim to see if they could even fit us in, on the same day and luckily they had availability to do two 90-minute massages. After my first review, the manager contacted me for my experience and she realized that my facial was not customized to my needs and skin type and that was the reason I did not see any results and felt that it was a waste. I was offered another facial which would be customized for my skin. Sara met me at the front desk promptly when I arrived and I was taken to the room right away. At that moment, my biggest concern was acne scars and she said we can try different treatments to see immediate results. She started with cleansing and then did a micro pulse treatment for draining the fluids. She then did some extractions for me and we did a chemical peel. It was a mild peel as I did not want to try anything that can have adverse effect. After the peel, she gave me some red and blue LED light which apparently kills the acne causing bacteria. She also did a high frequency treatment which zaps away pimples. All in all, she did every treatment in the book to make sure my skin remains clear. This time she made sure the treatments lasted for 90min as she had told me it would. She also recommended a face wash to me. I appreciated that as this was not a product that the spa was selling but just a product that had worked for her previously. The upgrade in my review is because clearly the manager wanted to make things right and Sara wanted to be sure that the treatment is targeted to my concerns. My acne does look clear after the extraction and the peel. I don't have much reduction in scarring, but i have not had new breakouts. I appreciate the business trying to make thing right and just for that reason I give extra stars. If I ever need another acne treatment, I feel better about coming back to Sara knowing she is not going to pressure me in to any treatment I don't feel comfortable about. read more

NEW ADDRESS: 3990 Hillsboro Pike, Suite 240, Nashville, Tennessee 37215 They upgraded considerably and all those old comments must have been from the old place with the old crew?!?! BECAUSE, OMG!! It was amazingly fabulous from the minute you walk into their doors through every step of the facility. This is a HIGH END Spa with all the bells and whistles. going to spa's in Paris, Germany, London, Italy.... It compares! I don't think I'll be going anywhere else! I got a massage and toured the facility. They have the most decadent Salt Cave and the Ice Falls (I haven't seen that since my Europe trip!) The Infrared Sauna and SO much more!! The Cool Springs, Franklin location. Do not buy a Groupon they clearly do not like them. Complaining about how much they get per voucher. If it doesn't make sense for their business as a marketing strategy then don't use them. The goal should be for them to make the Groupons an A+ experience so you think it's worth it to go back at full price. I wouldn't even go here again with another special! I was able to squeeze in for a Men's Facial this morning, and a Vichy shower this afternoon, and I must say, I've been to many Spa appointments, and this was by far a favorite of mine. Immediately upon walking in, you're warmly greeted in a beautiful reception area, surveyed on your questions or concerns, brought to a spacious changing room with private locker, then seated in a tranquil relaxation room while waiting on your service providers. 5 stars all the way! I love the photo facial that builds collagen, tightens my skin, and takes care of broken capillaries and pigmentation. I've had 2 sessions and already got two compliments yesterday on my skin! I also love the Cellusleek that makes your skin smoother for bikini season...tightens skin on your bootie and thighs :-) And smooths cellulite. Tip....I got the first session free by dialing #250 on my cell phone and saying keyword "lose inches". You can try that...not sure how long they're doing it for. I was asked for my card over the phone to book an appointment. I was not explained WHY. I'm assuming it's because they have a cancellation policy, but the amount that would have been pulled from my card was never explained to me. I received a gift certificate for Christmas. I began attempting to book an appointment in April 2023. After several attempts, I finally received a response stating that, "I may have the wrong location" and that the service I had inquired about (that I chose from their bogus website), wasn't offered and that perhaps I should go to Riviera Spa in Green Hills (this was their previous location). I responded that I had the gift certificate and it was issued from them, in the amount of $400.00. I was given the option of a next day appointment. I couldn't make that and asked if there was anything available for the following Saturday. Lots of back and forth and I was offered a noon appointment on Saturday 5/13/23. I drove 1 hour to the spa, realized that the location I was given wasn't it, drove over to where the automated recording "claimed" the salon was. I was on time, there was nobody there. I called 3 or 4 times, emailed Elizabeth, the owner, called once more, then turned around and drove the hour back home. NOT a single response. I waited until Monday, sent a not so nice email requesting they refund the $ to my friend and you guessed it, crickets. However, I did get a phone call from the number I had been calling for days @ 9PM on the following Monday or Tuesday. I didn't answer because I was already in bed. I have yet to receive an email response. Zero integrity. I looked them up and they aren't even a functional establishment and haven't been for several months!!! So knowingly the faked this appointment. Why? All she had to do was say I am in the middle of something, not working, and can I extend the life of your gift certificate or refund you. I would have gladly waited until she was up and running again, but the scammy way she handled things needs to be addressed. No one in building was wearing a mask when I went to Cool Springs location. I've had facials during the pandemic at other spas and felt safe, but not here. I have been to dozens of spas, and this one was the worse experience I ever had. The waiting room was noisy as teenagers ran around making even just waiting stressful. The receptionist was unfriendly and the owner was on the phone talking loudly about her personal life like no one could hear, it was complete trash. My one hour facial was 35 minutes. The facilities were nice, the person who did the facial was nice, but this place is low class. This place is not customer oriented. Avoid at all costs. read more

I had a positive experience at La Bella. I 1st tried the microcurrent treatment which was super cool. I could feel the muscles in my face tighning. 2nd I tried the Cellusleek full body for cellulite. Jennifer did one thigh & showed me the difference between the two before moving on & there was definitely a noticable difference in the thigh that had been done. It looked thinner & tighter. I did not go to the location in franklin but the location is Nashville. It was SO incredible and I felt so welcomed. I met the owner and she was sweet as can be! The building had some construction going on which could be heard through the walls but that wasn't their fault and I was too focused on the warm massage table and the cutest projector projecting falling snow on the wall. I went here for a prenatal massage for my birthday. I've had many (40-50) massages in my lifetime because of my bad back, most of those were deep tissue massages. The salon is located in a business park. It's building B, suite 275. The buildings are not marked (not the salon's fault) and the numbers on the units are not in order and many aren't marked at all, including the salon's. It was very difficult to find. I drove around 3 times until, in the August heat at 6 months pregnant, I decided to just get out and walk to every door to find it. When I found it, I walked in and it was pretty peaceful, but no one was at the desk. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment time because I know most places have intake forms they want you to fill out. 15 minutes later I'm still standing there and no one has made an appearance. I could hear people talking in the back, but don't know if it was other patrons or associates. There was a sitting area nearby that I could see but there were boxes and tape guns all over the chairs, so I just assumed I shouldn't move them. Finally, after waiting almost 30 minutes, a lady came in through the front door with a take out cup. I'm fine if you need to get a bite...I work retail, I understand, but get someone to cover your desk or leave a sign "be back at 4:15". She never apologized for me waiting and haphazardly handed me some paperwork and led me to the actual waiting area. She offered me wine...again, visibly pregnant and booked for a prenatal massage...and almost seemed perturbed when I said no thank you. I filled out the intake form which was more like a sales brochure trying to get me to purchase more goods and services. It didn't ask any questions about my health issues or any pain etc. which is customary for a massage intake form...it's important information for them to know. Finally the massage therapist came to get me. She was very awkward and I assumed new and just not good with people, but she was friendly anyway. She never offered to show me where the restroom was and I had to end up asking. Then I asked where I could place my purse and clothes when I got undressed. There was no good place. She said anywhere, so I put them on a chair..."oh well that's fine for now but I'll need that chair when we get started" was her response. So I had to lay it on the table with her lotions and oils...the only other place was a heater, but I didn't wanna light the place up just yet. Finally we started the massage. I told her that I was more comfortable laying on my stomach even though I'm pretty big, but she made me lay on my side, which was not as comfortable and my arm kept falling asleep. I cannot express in words how painful this massage was. Again, I've had MANY deep tissue massages and they're not always fun, but with a therapist that knows what they're doing, they start slow then go deeper. They put warm towels on your muscles before and after to loosen them and soothe them. Not here. She just went whole hog into my muscles right off the bat. On my back and thighs, she kept either pinching me by not using enough oil or her fingernail was scraping me, I couldn't see, so don't know for sure, but it hurt. I was more tense during the massage than I was prior to, but didn't want to be rude so I suffered through it. Two days later, I'm in so much pain that I'm having to walk stooped and there are bruises all over my arms and legs. Once I don't hurt all over when someone barely touches me, I'll be going elsewhere to get her work fixed and actually relax. read more

I received a groupon as a gift for the Nashville's Ultimate Contouring Facial. I just got home from my facial and what a surprise I found when I looked in the mirror. I have bruising at the corner of my right eye from a part of the treatment. I think it probably came from the "vacuum" portion of the facial. The whole time I was there I felt like I was being given a sales pitch and she actually was telling me I would benefit most from getting a package of vacuuming sessions (10 for a mere $450). I think I will pass given the bruise this facial has given me. I've contacted the salon about the bruising and am waiting for someone to call me back. I recently re-visited this spa because my first experience, which involved a photofacial with esthetician Britney, was quite positive. Therefore, I decided to schedule an additional photofacial, as I'm not looking for tightening, but rather addressing sun-exposed, hyper-pigmented spots which don't require significant frequency. Firstly, trying to schedule any appointments now appears to be an onus because they have some special running and you end up speaking to an automated system. I waited over 2 and a half weeks and after no response, I called again and went through the prompts until I was able to speak with a live person.. With my first treatment, Britney was very thorough, and within a couple days, the pigmented areas that were targeted changed color, and then simply effaced or vanished. When they did return, they were lighter in color. I left a review for them on a different site because I was happy with my results. Well, I felt that it was time for another session...I requested Britney, as well as the exact settings as last time, and she no longer works there. Before starting, I expressed to the new person that I was very interested in addressing one spot on my nose, forehead, and the left, froto-temporal region. Unfortunately, I don't think those areas were addressed this time (no change in color, no disapperance, NOTHING). Other minor areas were targeted, however. I called and was told that they would relay the message to the manager. She left a voicemail message, and I returned her call and left a voicemail message for her and never heard back. DISAPPOINTED that a $295 treatment didn't really achieve the results I desired, as compared to my first experience and that the customer service attention is now lacking because of their deficient capability to sustain high-volumes when they run specials. read more

My sister is an esthetician and owns a day spa in another state so I am very familiar with spa services and I have enjoyed services all over the world. I bought a groupon for Labella and like many of the other reviews felt that the prices were a tad high. I went in for my first treatment and was very surprised with my facial. It was very unique and different than anything I've had before. It was awesome. After my second treatment, I started getting comments from friends and loved ones, "you look great", There is something different about you; What have you been doing different". When my younger friends ask others to tell us who's older, I get the the younger vote every time. I bought a larger package of services even before my I completed my Groupon because the results speak for themselves. If you are looking for an inexpensive facial that feels good but doesn't yield results, there are plenty of places to go to for that. If you want extraordinary results in a beautiful faculty with great staff, this is your place. It's definitely mine! read more

I just read the previous reviews, but their experience was not my experience. I also initially purchased a groupon, but before visiting La Bella e Famosa Spa, I studied and researched the services listed on their website. I purchased the Medilift and Synergie treatments for my abdomen, and I also purchased the Microcurrent Face Lift and Vacuum Tightening for my face. I have definitely seen positive improvement; however, one must be patient. Improvement doesn't happen after one or even a few visits. I have never had to wait, even though sometimes they have waited on me to arrive. They have always been courteous, considerate, and encouraging. The only criticism I have is the message on their answering machine--it is way too long. But, now I just hit #3 and leave my message, without listening to their entire phone message. One last thing--the Alleia facial products are wonderful. I have used Lancôme for years, but have now switched to Alleia. read more
