Queensferry was so busy on a beautiful sunny warm Friday night. We had a dreadful job getting a parking space but eventually found one and with that our minds turned to food. Where were we going to eat? We happened by La Barca, I knew the building from my childhood days when it was known as the Seals o'Craig Hotel. In we went not expecting much. The restaurant is like being on an old galleon with wonderful views of both bridges.
The food was very good, nothing fantastic but good honest, tasty Italian food. Service was a little slow but luckily we weren't in a hurry so we sat back and enjoyed the beautiful view and when the food came we weren't
disappointed and the price was reasonable.
Well worth a try :-) read more
