I took a suggestion from a local in dumbo. boy was I not disappointed! The food was inexpensive, compared to the rest of New York City and the taste was insane. I ordered an everything bagel with Genoa salami, correction, boars, head, Genoa salami and provolone. Spicy mustard and the mayo, lettuce and tomato. They were all the right proportions. A delicious taste. They were all happy to serve the delicious food, even though I had to take my time to figure out what to order. So I appreciate their patience. Talk about the right amount of smear on a bagel I was able to taste the Schmear and the bagel. What are the odds my daughter ordered the blueberry cream cheese on a toasted cinnamon bagel and hers was super yummy. I ordered plain cream cheese on a toasted. This place is pricey, but it isn't out of the ordinary for NYC pricing. I really enjoyed my bagel and lox sandwich and would definitely recommend this spot! They aren't stingy on the lox either, so I would say it's worth its value! read more

You definitely don't go here for the service, but the food is still good. I ordered the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, and it was great, and my husband ordered a pastrami and egg sandwich which he said was great too. A lot of reviews are about the service, but at the end of the day, I'm just there to pop in for quick takeout. Have a great bagel. read more

The food was delicious and the line was long. For how long the line was they were surprisingly efficient and we didn't wait long at all. I've been coming here for a couple years and I'm not stopping any time soon. This is a great grab and go spot for bagels, sandwiches, coffee. They do get busy but their service is really quick, I've never had to wait super long. The bagel options are displayed behind the cashier stand and they have a list of cream cheese as well. They also have their sandwich menus on the walls. Their bagels are large, fluffy, and delicious. My favorites are the everything bagel and cinnamon raisin. Their cream cheese are whipped, fluffy, soft, and have a perfect amount of sweetness (I only get sweet ones, haven't tried their savory ones but I've heard good things from others!). I love getting strawberry, blueberry, or apple cinnamon. My boyfriend really likes the walnut raisin cream cheese. Definitely try if you're in the area visiting DUMBO! read more

I always get the gluten-free everything bagel with turkey sausage and scrambled eggs with avocado and it is delicious and when my parents were visiting they wanted to go every day. The service is great and fast. This is not a sit down Michelin star restaurant this is literally where you go to get a quick grab so when people are speaking about the service, I'm not sure what more they're asking for the staff is very friendly and very quick, especially with every time I go in the store there is a line of people. Very intimidating experience when you walk in as there's so many people standing around waiting for their food and the men at the front are yelling for the next order. It's amazing they can memorize a long order without writing it down, and you pay when the food is ready. The texture of the bagels are so good and chewy, but I've definitely had better New York bagel experiences. The slab on very little cream cheese for charging $5-6 per bagel. We also bought a dozen everything bagels to take home, but wish they had more seasoning on them. read more

We stopped here after we arrived in Dumbo, because we were craving bagels. It definitely filled the craving as this seems like it was the only real bagel shop in DUMBO. I would not recommend getting the lox bagel, it was just too expensive for what it was. All the other bagels on the menu seem like they were probably more worth it. Just keep in mind that you'll probably have to wait outside, or eat outside. This place was super busy and has no inside seating. read more

We stumbled upon this deli on accident and I'm glad we did. We had some great BEC bagels. The staff was helpful and friendly and quick. It's a small deli with no seating to its best for take away but they pack up the sandwiches so they stay warm. I would swing by again if I'm in the neighborhood. read more

Food: This was the second bagel spot my friends and I hit up in NYC and we were not disappointed! Definitely fluffier than I expected and lots of cream cheese options as well. My friend got the olive and pimiento spread and I opted for the lox spread. Perfect breakfast that we didn't even get to finish since just half was super filling. Ambiance/Service: Super accommodating staff and they take card and cash. They display all the different spreads in their display case which makes choosing a spread effortless. The best bagel ever!!! Stopped here on our way to the brooklyn bridge. So glad we did! My partner and I shared the most amazing bagels! He got the breakfast bagel while I opted for the lox bagel! I also got a cup of coffee. Store is small, but ingredients are fresh, staff is nice and they have plenty of drink options! It's a block away from the brooklyn bridge view point, lots of open table to sit and enjoy your meal! read more

I usually don't write reviews, but the bagel I purchased from there today has to be one of the worst bagels I have ever had. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. You would think okay it's a pretty common breakfast sandwich in New York what could go wrong. As someone who lives in the area it is the only bagel place around. The bagel had a fishy taste to it that made me feel sick while eating it. Every aspect of the sandwich had a fishy flavor. To include I am also pregnant so it just did not sit well and in addition smoked salmon is not safe while pregnant. Please beware of cross contamination of the food at this place especially if you have any allergies or medical concerns. read more

Amazing, a little pricey but the neighborhood being dumbo that should be expected. Service is quick and easy and the guys in there know what they are doing. This isn't a sit down place, so you order and wait for your sandwich for a few minutes. I work in the area so I was actually able to order from yelp and have it delivered one time, which can really save you in a pinch. read more

After our early morning stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge, my friends and I found ourselves on the hunt for a breakfast spot. We stumbled upon La Bagel Delight in DUMBO and decided to give it a try. The place wasn't too busy, which meant a quick and efficient ordering process, with our food served promptly. There was no indoor seating, so we opted to enjoy our bagels in a nearby park by the Manhattan Bridge. Perhaps it was the combination of my early morning brain fog, intense hunger, or the bagel's sheer perfection, but this lox bagel was nothing short of a dream. Terrace is also the only bagel shop I'm aware of that has the Split Decision on the menu.
