This place is pricey, but it isn't out of the ordinary for NYC pricing. I really enjoyed my bagel and lox sandwich and would definitely recommend this spot! They aren't stingy on the lox either, so I would say it's worth its value!

My boyfriend and I both got bacon, egg, and cheese bagels from La Bagel before hitting Pebble Beach. We both enjoyed the sandwiches on everything bagels! The ratio of each topping was excellent and we will be back for more BECs.

Been going to this DUMBO institution for 20 years and have never written about this place?! One of the first businesses to dare to open in a neighborhood that was once empty and unsafe. Up there with Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee Company for best bagels in the city. Whenever I wake up super early, I come here to get the bagels around 7am, still-warm and fresh. Don't need to be toasted, love the everything with egg, bacon, cheddar cheese, or BEC, or when I'm feeling indecisive, a BEC with scallion cream cheese. Divine hazelnut coffee with cream and sugar. The good life. 5 stars!!!!

Just your average bagel shop/ deli. It is based in Dumbo a few blocks away from the water and other sites to see. It is a small shop so gets crowded easily. I got a sesame bagel with egg and cheese. It was just alright nothing WOW! or special about it.

Yes, the best bagel is subjective. This is the best I've ever had, surpassing Absolute Bagels at Broadway & 108th, which I didn't think was possible... Puffed up more like an oval shape. Well coated on top & bottom with the seasoning of choice (tried the onion and the everything). Lightly crispy/crunchy on the outside, with a shell that cracks even before toasting. Fluffy/chewy on the inside. Once toasted, that wonderful almost blackened char around the edges was perfect. The kicker was the thick slab of cream cheese, which clearly just came out of the fridge and was super-cold, providing that sensational contrast between hot & cold, which I just love. 9 days in Brooklyn where we wined dined sipped and sucked at as many different places as we could. This was the ONLY place we went to more than once...

We loved stopping here on our dumbo adventure. We walked from the train station here in the morning and had a delicious bagel sandwich with amazing views. They were quick and warm and fluffy and the pork roll was perfect. Definitely stop here on your dumbo walks or when heading to the Brooklyn bridge like we did!

    The Ultimate BLT

I'm not sure what's going on, but the service and quality has really gone down. I ordered the ultimate BLT hero sandwich. After waiting 35 minutes with 5 people getting their orders before me, I finally was given my order. The hero sandwich didn't have any lettuce, tomato, or fillings. It barely had any ham or bacon. I've never in my life received such a bad BLT in my life from anywhere. I'm not sure how you make a bacon, lettuce, tomato without the lettuce or tomato. If they were rushed, then I would understand. But they took 35 minutes to make a $22 hero sandwich with nothing inside. I hope they make their service and quality better. It's a shame.

La Bagel Delight is the perfect grab and go bagel spot! They're busy, but the service is quick. Their display case is loaded with cream cheese options and deli meats. They have serval cases of bottled and canned drinks. The bagel selection - it's exactly what you'd expect in NY. I got a bacon, egg and cheese on a garlic bagel. It was loaded with egg and cheese. The bagel didn't have the perfect outer crisp. It was still delicious. Find yourself a park bench on a sunny day and devour a breakfast sandwich from La Bagel!

So far my favorite bagel i've had in brooklyn! I had the garlic bagel with scallion cream cheese and the bagel was light and fluffy and the crunchy garlic added the perfect balance. Staff was also super friendly and very efficient! Definitely will be going back!

Convenient location with a big menu to choose from! We were here around 630 in the morning so they were quick to take our order at the counter and make it. You order, they give you your food, then you pay. It's not a very big space so if there a lot of people in there waiting I would imagine it would be quite crowded. I got the sausage egg and cheese on a plain bagel and it was literally so good. The cheese was perfectly meaty and covered the sausage and egg. It was amazing. They also had some cut up fruit so I got a cup of watermelon which really hit the spot. Huge drink coolers too! We enjoyed our food around the corner at Brooklyn bridge park and it was very pleasant! I would come back here if I was in the area again.

Good and decent bagel sandwich, no complaints. Staff were fast and efficient and it was good for its price point.

Nice to have a bagel spot so close to Brooklyn Bridge Park. We ordered for pickup and it was ready within a few minutes of arriving. Shop is small but staff did a good job at keeping things organized.

Looking for a quick pick me up while you're at Dumbo then this is the place. Their bagels are great to-go food to have while you're walking around. The service is a bit chaotic and it's not really a sit and pause kinda place. Just take your everything bagel and cup of coffee and go. The Mr. Bagel taste great and huge, very filling.

Solid bacon, egg and cheese. Nice bagels. Friendly service. Not too expensive. Seems like they have some good lunch options, I'll be back.

Fat Boy... whoever you are... thank you!!!…read more If you have not heard about Fat Boy Burger...Go get you a Fat Boy Burger. I'm serious. I was craving a burger one night. I had me a nice, chill evening, a little buzz going, and I wanted a good burger. The place I originally wanted was closing, and I wasn't trying to go anywhere, so I hopped on DoorDash. I was about to change my whole order until Fat Boy Burger popped up. I looked at it and thought, "You know what... that looks good." Baby...Best decision I made that night. They had a combo deal going, so I ordered the Fat Boy Burger Combo with onion rings instead of fries, and of course I had to get the Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshake. When I tell you... I don't know who Fat Boy is. I don't know how they thought of this. But baby...I love everything you do. I just need you to know that. Let's start with the onion rings. PERFECTION!!!! Perfectly fried. Nice and crispy, but not overly crispy. The onions stayed together when you bit into them, they weren't soggy, and that first crunch...Yeah. That's exactly what an onion ring is supposed to be. Now the burger...That bun. That sauce. Oh. My. God. The burger was juicy without grease running down my hands. Everything stayed together, every bite was balanced, and I still don't know what's in that sauce, but whatever it is...Don't change it. I was literally sitting in my house doing the little food dance. Y'all know the one. Just rocking back and forth because every bite is making you happier than the last. And that Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshake? Gone. It was so good. The next time I ordered, I got one of their barbecue burgers, onion rings again (because why mess with perfection?), and a Fruity Pebbles milkshake. Same experience. Everything was hot. Nothing was soggy. The burger looked exactly like the pictures. Honestly, if you looked at the photos, you'd think I had eaten inside the restaurant instead of getting it delivered. That's how well everything was packaged. You can tell they actually care about what they're putting out. They care about the food. They care about the ingredients. They care about the presentation. And they care that you enjoy what you ordered. Because trust me... I enjoyed every single bite. Shout-out to Fat Boy Burger. Just know... Y'all will probably be seeing another order from me very, very soon.

Ambiance: I could see this place being very busy so having a seat is not guaranteed and the space looked clean and well taken care of. Food: well I order the fried chicken sandwich and added Cheddar Cheese to it (they have option between American & Cheddar) kept pickle, lettuce and tomato and I added to it Small fries. Well I would assure you that it is one of the best fries I have ever had and they taste so good and look at the portion, its amazing. The burger was great, I loved it honestly especially the Bun, sauce and pickles. I have one small remark regarding the chicken is that it need more marination either in slices or something cause it felt dry when biting into it. I also I wanna see a spicy chicken sandwich option as well.

Sadly this did not hit the way I wanted it to. I got pollo asado and the chicken wasn't seasoned very well. The burrito was super loaded with rice and beans which would be acceptable if there was more flavor going on. I'd even be happier with more cheese and sour cream but those were both lacking too. Overall very average, which is sad for Hell's Kitchen as we don't really have any good spots to quickly grab a delicious burrito. They do have a LOT of vegetarian and vegan replacement options on the menu which is cool! Can't vouch for the flavor or quality of those though.

When you walk in, the menu is clearly visible above the register and they have burritos, quesadillas, and much more. The fam has always hyped the burritos, so I wasn't really looking to try anything else for my first time. I was on the fence between the chicken ranchero and seitan burrito. Since I had never had the latter before, I have to give it a try. I liked that there was an option for a spinach tortilla, I went with that. It was ready in about 10 minutes, and while it is indeed a take out spot, no one else was sitting inside, so we were able to occupy the four seats that were there. The burrito was humongous. I should have taken a picture of it, but I was so hungry and ready to dive in I just didn't. It was delicious. We all shared chips and a hefty amount of red salsa, that was surprisingly spicy. What a meal! We were lucky to just beat a big crowd of people. Folks were standing around waiting and pretty much the entire standing area of the little place to get orders. I'm glad I finally got to try and I would come back. The closest thing that I normally go to is the Nintendo store. I could definitely make it happen again.

My Taysty Tayke: Get Down & Dirty, Expeditiously: Tikkaville Sandwich One of the more interesting chicken sandwiches I've had. The tikka sauce, mint chutney, pickled onions, and coleslaw all come together in a way that really works. Flavorful, layered, and memorable.
