Customers choose pickup for convenience and reliability, and the expectation is that orders will be ready during the selected time slot. If the store is unable to fulfill orders within certain windows, those time slots shouldn't be available. What's especially disappointing is that I placed this order three hours in advance on a Wednesday, so I was surprised it still wasn't ready on time. This location is usually pretty good about having orders prepared when promised, which is why these repeated delays have been frustrating. They do have some name brands these days, but they won't be cheaper compared to other stores. The Aldi finds isle is a fun seasonal section with bargains. I like to stop here for the occasional fresh item like raspberries which are usually a fair amount cheaper than other local stores. They have an obvious lack of selection as it's a small store, but they do have decent store brands. Are you going to do all your shopping here? Not likely. But if you want to save some money, need a quick item, or are just fed up with your usual store then Aldi is worth a trip.
