My wife and I live in Los Angeles and while we were planning our wedding for about 150 guests at Cree Estate in Palm Springs. After getting outlandish price quotes from friends and contacts for Hollywood deejays, we came to the conclusion that booking someone local would be the better way to go. After a simple Google search, I came across Prime Time Productions. When I reached out to DJ Luis his professionalism and all around great attitude were immediately apparent. I explained to him our hip-hop and soul music requirements and he was on board. I simply created playlists in Spotify and sent him the links. Luis made some tweaks and additions and when we arrived in Palm Springs the day before the event, he had downloaded and organized everything on his laptop and was ready to rock. In addition to the great Prime Time Productions light and sound system, DJ Luis did an awesome job introducing wedding party members, introing speeches, handling bouquet and garter toss announcements and general banter with wedding guests. We had such a good time with him and and Rose that we begged them to stay and hang out with us for the after party. Thankfully, they obliged. If you're planning a wedding or party in the Palm Springs area and want good music, I highly recommend you book Prime Time Productions.

There was nothing said or done to try and engage the guests, and one guest even told me that the DJ was complaining to him that he didn't even know the schedule, however nothing was ever asked of me or anyone else in the planning party. The music was nice, but I would have been better suited to just rent speakers, and play music from Spotify, because that's really all we got! I was also shocked that he showed up, and didn't even have an extension cord to run his equipment, fortunately I had a spare to offer... but you would think someone in this line of work would have one! At the end of the night he walked up to me and said "uh, I need to get paid" just overall he was flat, impersonal, and rude. If I had it to do all over, I would just have played my own music...
