Don't order of the website for a bridal gift. It won't come to you.. even after you call. Very disappointed in the way they do business.

Beautiful store with gorgeous gift options. It's a shame their employees are so condescending.

They tout a huge variety of beautiful rugs and Kentucky themed framed art. The items ranged from $25 for candles and t-shirts to several thousand dollars for truly amazing sofas and chairs. I love the style of this store with a mix of antiques and new items. The store contained many Lexington pictures such as maps of the city and horse pictures and signs. The style of the store was a hip rustic vibe and many new and beautiful rugs and furnishings. There was also bar ware and bourbon barrel heads and bourbon stave items. The place contained many cool tables, bars, shelving units and military pictures and tables. The owner Chad Tussey was helpful and gave me a card with the website. The website was well laid out with the items divided into categories: furniture, accessories, bourbon barrels, cover your walls, oriental rugs, lighting, stuff for your bar, Kentucky made soaps, candles, and food, architectural salvage, hats, shirts, socks, etc., grooming supplies, new relic finds, and sale items. I will be back and really enjoyed my visit.

World Market is one of my favorite stores. I've been in sort of mourning since moving to Kentucky…read morefive years ago that there was no World Market nearby. THEN. I found out last month that World Market was opening in Lexington. Upon hearing that, I just had to come here as soon as I could. Fortunately, I had a doctor appointment in Lexington the day before they had their Grand Opening and was able to stop in to poke around and pick up a few goodies. It was such a delight to walk through these doors. This location is clean, spacious, and pleasing to walk around. World Market offers tiny shopping carts with seats for kids which was the perfect size for browsing with my toddler. And since it was around opening day, there were many people available to help me. I swooned over the macrame plant holders, the woven rugs and baskets, the international foods & treats, the simple and affordable kitchenware, coffee mugs, candles, the Christmas decor (unlike anywhere else), the nostalgic toys, the throw pillows, the quirky gifts, and more. It's kind of an eclectic store -- with a mix of international and fun. When it comes to gifts, you can probably find something for everyone here. They also have dining tables, chairs, couches, lamps, and other such furniture and decor for homes. Think mid-century modern. These are all a bit on the pricier side. (Not everything is in store - you can look online and get a better idea of these offerings.) If my entire home could be decorated with World Market, that would be amazing. We left with about $60 worth of gifts, marzipan, ornaments, and other trinkets for the holidays. I wasn't even planning to spend any money. Oops. I'll have to space out my visits so my credit cards don't rack up too much debt...

I was so excited about the quality and humor for World Market's spring decor, and much of it came home with me... along with tons of unique and global food for our kids Easter baskets. Pro tip: I always search for coupons before shopping here, and I frequently find INCREDIBLE deals on furniture in the back right corner of the store. Just look for 'Managers Special'!
