Something White had the perfect balance of simple, elegant dresses that still looked bridal and special for that special day. I loved everything I tried on! Where Rebecca shines is in her ability to coach a bride through this big decision in a stress-free way. Rebecca made sure I never felt overwhelmed. She had lots of tips and tricks that helped me narrow down the decision, and I left feeling super confident in the dress I picked. I just picked up my dress in my size and it is even better than I could have imagined and I am so excited to wear it at my May wedding.

When scheduling an appointment, I completed a survey that inquired about gown preferences and had me select gowns from the Something White Pinterest. Immediately when I entered the boutique, it was clear she had reviewed my answers and Pinterest selected gowns. She was familiar with what I was looking for, but also encouraged me to try on a few gowns outside my expected style. In trying on gowns, Rebecca's presence and vibe has been unmatched. She was quick to "fit" the gowns, so that each one felt perfect. All of her gowns are of top quality and excellent design. It is difficult to not feel bridal in each one. What has stood out to me about Something White weeks later, is the quality of assistance Rebecca provides her brides. In determining a favorite gown, she asked perfect, prompting questions, but was always positive and genuine. Our fitting ran long, but I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. She has maintained excellent communication since my visit, and I cannot wait to return back!

Unfortunately, if you are pear shaped and order an A-line dress - they'll order you a dress that's four sizes too large for your top. My wedding dress is huge and I've since taken it to two different alterations appointments and the fit is terrible. I'm so disappointed and sad over my wedding dress not fitting me properly and being so large, I went and bought a different, off the rack dress elsewhere. The new dress I bought is four sizes smaller and fits me perfectly. The other dress shops said La Blanca should know better than to order a dress that large... but here we are. I'm out about $3000 from the price of the dress and two rounds of alterations just to end up having to go get something else for my special day. I would not recommend.

I purchased my wedding gown on-line (monique lhuillier) for an amazing price, but it had a weird "couture" neckline (i had a love-hate relationship with it until I realized it wasn't good for my body type) and was too big. The dress was of course all intricate lace as well as horse-hair at the neckline and I was wondering how anyone would be able to make it into the dress I envisioned (we actually highly considered trying to sell it ourselves and just buying a new dress from scratch). But Mira who does alterations was able to create the PERFECT dress for me -- the neckline, bodice, and overall fit was amazing. She listened to all of our concerns (my mom and I -- we often had differing opinions!) and was extremely flexible considering I changed my mind a BUNCH of times. She also worked fast and efficiently, working with my hectic schedule. The prices for the alterations were very, very reasonable. Mira is basically a miracle worker -- it really could have ended up as a disaster in anyone else's hands. I don't know what we would've done without her. The veil, belt, and hair piece were also beautiful accessories and of very high quality. The veil in particular is stunning. Julie the owner is also very nice, professional, and flexible. Even though we only did our alterations there, she always made us feel like VIP customers. If I didn't get my dress online, I would've probably have gotten my dress there!

I made an appointment through emailing the store, which was super easy. When my mom and I came for my appointment we were told to look around at all their dresses. The dresses were separated my designers. There was about 7 racks of dresses, as well as a sale rack. Something unique about this bridal store is how you can pick dresses out to try on. Above the racks there is a little lip where the hangers can sit perfectly. Each time I found a dress I wanted to try on I just pulled it out and hung it up on the lip. Once it was time to try dresses on, one of the workers helped me get the dresses on. This was helpful, because I often couldn't find the floor! The worker was very nice and personable. Each time I would walk out in the dress workers would ooh and aww. One ended up coming over and staying for most of the dresses! I would recommend brides come try this location!
