A brand new restaurant in the Vleurgat neighbourhood.. L'Osteria!
It was 6:00pm and not a lot of restaurants are open at that time, so we just walked-in and voilà, we we're the first customers that evening for this brand new restaurant that apparently just opened a few weeks ago.
It was the Chef himself that welcomed us and seated us. It was quite cute as you can see that he's not used to do the table service.
I've ordered the infamous Spaghetti alle Vongole, but before receiving our dish, we've been served an amuse-bouche of four toasted bread with olive oil and a tomato dip paste that tasted really well. Immediately after the tasteful amuse-bouche, we we're served rapidly of our main dish. There were sufficient clamps and added to the dish were cherry tomatoes and zucchini. This two other ingredients added a supplement taste to the dish. We wanted to end the evening with a good note so we've decided to order their homemade Tiramisu, and it was heaven inside our mouths. It was just melting as it should be with a kick of amaretto and cacao.
Poops Corner :
Dark grey room with a door for each wc (male and female), a shared sink with liquid soap and hand towels. Very neat and tidy restroom.
Overall :
The restaurant is nicely situated, near a bus stop (bus 60 and 38). During a nice weather, a large garden is available at the back. The price is right with the quality and quantity of their products. A must to visit and try! read more
