I quickly realized that most were charging huge markups for their diamonds. My search algorithm must've caught on because that's when I came across this place. I decided to follow their Instagram for awhile as they often post tutorials and tidbit videos online. These vids in combination with all the reviews I had already read highlighting trustworthiness and service, made me decide to visit them. From our very first appointment back in April, Catherine was professional, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. My partner came with me on the first visit just to browse, and Catherine kindly helped her find her ring size and get a sense of her design/style preferences. On subsequent secret visits (between just Catherine and I), we refined the design specs, set a comfortable budget range and she guided me through every stage of the custom ring-making process via whatsapp. What really stood out was how educational and transparent the experience was. Catherine gave me a thorough, easy-to-understand rundown of the 4 C's (cut, colour, clarity, carat) and where I could maximize the value of my budget when customizing the ring. Never once did I feel pressured, talked down to, or upsold -- just genuine care and expertise throughout. The final result exceeded all expectations. When I proposed to my girlfriend (now fiancée) in Japan this October, she was absolutely over the moon! The ring was stunning -- elegant, beautifully crafted and exactly what she had dreamed of. After returning home from our trip, we brought the ring back for a resizing and Catherine handled it promptly and free of charge. I can't recommend H&F (and Catherine in particular) highly enough. I said that this is the only warranty card that I got from the store when I bought, but the shop assistant argued and NO is the answer from her. She can adjust but I must pay for $10. When I asked to see a watch, the sales lady plopped the watch down hard on the mat, like she was annoyed that I was wasting her time. At the very least, they are not gentle with their product. When I tried to negotiate for a good price for a watch, the sales lady would insist on certain percent discount and would not budge from that. Which is fine, I've had that elsewhere before, but she seemed unpleasant about it, like they don't need or want to sell me the watch. The differentiating factors between watches stores could be good price and good customer experience. I felt like I got neither from this store. The discount I was told might be good for Swiss brands, but not good for Japanese brands, as I've had better discounts for Japanese brands elsewhere. They carry other brands like Armani and Dunhill now, but their core Mosaic jewelry line has been the heart of the store from the beginning. Their pieces are 0.925 silver and rhodium plated, made with gemstones (amethyst, garnet, sapphire, citrine, topaz, pearls, pink CZ's, etc) and a few "luxe" pieces using diamonds and gold. All their pieces come with a 1 year warranty against defects. Their customer service is excellent, they stand behind their products and I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. About 10 years ago my boyfriend bought me a really pretty blue topaz ring and after 2 years of wearing it daily, somehow the main stone fell out of the ring. My friends and I were crawling on the floor of our high-school classroom looking for the stone. My boyfriend took the broken ring and loose stone back to the store and they sent it away to be repaired. Even though it had been 2 years and they didn't even have that style in the store, they only charged him about $15 for the repair. It came back about 2-3 weeks later as good as new - and I still have that ring. More recently I spotted a ring that I really liked, but was only made for the store in pink. One of the sales girls told me that if I liked it, I could place a special order for it in whatever colour and size I wanted. I would still get the sale promotion going on in the store and they would phone me in 4-6 weeks when the item was ready to be picked up. There's no extra charge for this service. The gift packaging at Mosaic used to be lovely: rings came in black velvet heart-shaped steel boxes, earrings in a pink version, and all the necklaces and bracelets came with long velvet steel-boxes. It was beautiful presentation for their beautiful jewelry - and what girl doesn't love the sound of when a jewelry box opens and closes? I bought something today and was disappointed to learn that they no longer have the boxes. Instead they put their items in velvet drawstring pouches that look really cheap, and then put the pouches in a cardboard box that opens like a DVD case. It's not nearly as elegant as the steel boxes and actually makes the jewelry look cheaper than it is. There are very good sales every few months so if you don't need something right away, wait until there's a 20% sale. They also have rewards program which is free to join. You accumulate 10 points for every dollar you spend and can then redeem them for a discount. It takes quite a lot of points to get any discount, but since it's a free program it doesn't hurt. The first redemption level is $5 off for 2500 points, but if you ever get up to 40,000 points you get $150 off. If you provide your email address you are sent an automated email shortly after your purchase with your updated points balance. Gift packaging issues aside, the jewelry and service at Mosaic is great and I highly recommend you check this store out if you like high-end fashion jewelry but don't want to break the bank! (I'm not sure I should even be calling it fashion jewelry since they use real gemstones, hehe). Oh - and they accept all credit cards! Good to know since P-Mall is known for lots of cash-only places.

No call was received and when I followed up 2 weeks later, then 1 month later, and finally 3 months later; they gave the same story that the engraving machine was almost fixed and they apologized profusely each time. They told the same story when I asked for a refund on the engraving services stating they could not give a refund and that they would promise to call me a.s.a.p. when available. Don't waste your time and money on any of their services. Their lack of integrity could also reflect what they claim you are paying to buy.
