Midway through my meal I figured I'll take a pic of my buckwheat crepe with veggies

Had the buckwheat veggie crepe - was fantastic! Cheesy veggie goodness with a lovely béchamel sauce and crisp potatoes. The coffee wasn't so great :( could taste the bitterness. But the location overlooking the stairs down cannot be beat.

In terms of interior, this place is definitely five stars. Unlike the interior, though, the food is not five stars. I waited 35 minutes for the bread, and 40 minutes for my meal. Once it had finally arrived, I had already completely finished my drink. The food was okay, but the fries were over cooked and the burger was cooked for much too long. The shrimp were undercooked, which, frankly, is a health risk. This place is in such a great location, but the food has to get better, or else they will close down. 2/5

Delicious and a great location too!

Excellent crepes and casselottes! We truly enjoyed the food here. Would come back in a heartbeat.

    Chocolate crepe

I wanted to eat some really good French crepes and since the name of this place is crepe die I tried the chocolate one. It was stuffed with berries and banana and a non-sweet chocolate sauce. The crepe itself was one big one rolled up. The filling was delish but not sweet (not that I need it but they called it sweet crepe) and when they brought my food it was literally just the crepe....no decorations or anything on it....the price was 14$ without tax and tips. I would not go here again for crepes!

Bacon, ham, sausage, hollandaise wrapped in a perfect crepe topped with sunny side egg. I never want to settle for an omelet again.

Seems a likely tourist trap due to its location but, the veggie crepe with hollandaise sauce was great. My family enjoyed their food.

Tough to write a average/good review.... crepes were pretty good, service friendly but slow, good people watching from patio on the steps.

Great service, but was disapointed by the drinks, pina colada tasted more like a water colada. Go for the food but beware of the beverages

It's conveniently located near Old Town's main attractions, as well as other food spots and shops. The ambiance inside is lovely, and the staff was welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. We ordered the French onion soup and a classic crêpe with egg, ham, cheese, and seasonal vegetables. The French onion soup was absolutely outstanding--easily one of the best I've ever had. The crêpe was equally delicious and far better than what we typically find back home. The only options for the egg were scrambled or over-easy, which felt a bit limited. Also worth noting: no Coke Zero, but Diet Coke is available. Overall, this spot is a must-visit if you're craving authentic crêpes and exceptional French onion soup.

The meal was mostly a hit with the shredded duck savory crepes a big hit. The French Onion soup was also very delicious! I did debate whether to try the dessert versions but ultimately stuck with the savory. The only miss was the La Cannoise, with ricotta, spinach, olives, tomato sauce, egg and pesto which was not a hit. Just a weird combination of flavors that I guess I don't find mesh well, this dish was mostly left behind. Service was really friendly and helpful.

It is a cute cosy restaurant. We ordered a lunch crepe with ham and asparagus in a creamy sauce and it was served with a garden salad and a second crepe with smoked meat, pickles, Monterey Jack cheese, cheddar, salad and french fries. We chose the sweet batter. The alternate is a buckwheat batter. Our crepes might have been overcooked, as it was hard and on the dry side. Other diners that ordered a sweet crepe, those appeared to be light and very airy. The food is average and I did not have the experience indicated by other diners reviews. Our lunch came to $67 for two. There was another lunch special written in chalk posted on another wall, that seemed to be a really good deal and tasty, until it was too late as we had already ordered. It was a soup, a crepe for lunch, a mini sweet crepe for dessert and a glass of wine $37.99. So look around the restaurant before you order. There is seating on the main floor and on the second floor. Service is friendly.

Ordered the Assiette du Brenton which is pretty much a big breakfast - comes with fried potatoe, ham, sausage, bacon, eggs, meat pie, beans, toast, crepe and fruits. It was very filling as it came with a variety of food! The meat pie and bean were unique, however tasted mediore. We also ordered the classic breakfast with two eggs. We opted for the bacon for the protein - and it came with a huge amount of bacon. Also came with fried potatoes, toast and crepe. All their meals came with tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Overall, the best party of the meal was the crepe. Their breakfast was average and ordinary. Nothing really stood out.

I don't eat deli ham, so I was wondering if I should swap it out for chicken or just leave it off, but decided to trust European style dining because we're not in the US, peeps, and yeah, it was chunks of real ham. Came with a salad. Should have each ordered it and skipped the respectable but can get it anywhere strawberry & blueberry crepe with raspberry sauce, because I will rhapsodize about that Crepe La Saint-Louis. Then we also had a maple butter crepe, which has a scoop of ice cream inside, and which would have been so much better if we'd eaten it in the other direction. Thing is, when you maple butter the crepe on the griddle, it's the center working out that gets the good stuff, not the edge. And folded around the ice cream, had we started at the thickest part we'd've had the best part and work our way out to be mopping up the melt and squish and spill from forking up ice cream using the drier edge part. But starting with the edge, it seemed like a very unimpressive, largely just crepe batter concoction, and by the end we were trying to mop with the part that was already saturated. Learn from our mistakes! Attentive service, patio seating very chill.
