The setting was spectacular, sitting outside amongst trees and rocks of their terrace. Our wait staff could not have been better -- they treated us like VIPs, explaining the menu and with navigating the local wine list. In fact, the sommelier brought a couple of wines by for me to sample before making a final selection. Nice!! For lunch we had a bone marrow-- beef bone, cut in half, where you scoop out the marrow. Interesting and sublime. Wow the taste. Next came the main plat which was a perfectly seared tuna steak. ...and the wine from Gigondas, made for a memorable and fun meal. Reasonably priced, this was a class act from the service, ambiance and especially the food.

First off, the atmosphere was very relaxing. Next to us, there was a fountain that the waiters and waitresses filled up the buckets that held the wine. It was covered in moss and looked beautiful. We were also covered by trees so it was shady. As we sat down they served us some olives and bread. For the Mise En Bouche (which means "happy mouth" in French), everyone got a sort of salmon soup that was really good. For my first course I got tomatoes 3 ways. It came out different than I thought, it was a soup rather than a platter, but it was still fabulous. My main course was duck with some vegetables. My brother asked for a bite-for-a-bite (something my family does), but I said no, because of how tender and delicious the duck was. Last, but not least was dessert. We all got this really, really good desert. No idea what it was, but it was the best dessert I have had in my 12 years on this earth. It had some chocolate in it and some kind of coffee pudding. Even my dad, whose least favorite thing on earth is coffee, loved it. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is in the immediate vicinity. It was amazing!

We were seated inside the restaurant and since we didn't speak any French, ordering was quite tough for us, but luckily our waiter was extremely kind and recommended some excellent dishes. The entrée + plat + dessert in particular comes at a good price, and the dishes are certainly delicious as well. Got the Mini Salade de chévre chaud, which I initially didn't like due to the sauce, but combined with the cheese tasted much better as I warmed up to it. Steak de Thon mi-cuit was the highlight, thought it was beef but turned out to be fish, but was equally as good! To finish it off, I had Créme brulée Praliné, which was excellent! Overall, would highly recommend and will definitely come back if nearby.
