In the midst of trying to get a date scheduled, she puts me on hold...for about 5-7 minutes to where she gets back on the phone and says their computer went down and can't schedule my mother in law because of downed computers. I said okay that's fine. When they come back up please just schedule my mother in law your first available appointment no matter when and I would get her there. She says okay no problem. I get no call back, so next day I call back to which I'm told they will not schedule my mother in law and my only option was to be sent to the office manager to know why?!?!? I'm not stupid.... The first call was her putting me on hold to call OPI to figure out what why it was so hard to schedule and I got black balled from scheduling with them.... How insanely unprofessional and actually illegal... HIPPA VIOLATION if I ever saw one... I wasn't even going to be the patient, I am my mother in law's caregiver so I schedule ALL her medical appointments...mind you with no problem! I filed a complaint with the Medical Board. Bunch of caddy, unprofessional people. Wouldn't trust them to do anything... don't go here! Ended up going 45 minutes in the opposite direction and was able to schedule her within 5 minutes with manners, respect and professionalism.

I had a choice of two nearby locations- Mentor and Painesville to see Dr.Kane. Reasons for choosing his practice were 1-very good reviews and 2- that Dr.Kane had graduated one of the top Optometry schools, Indiana University in Bloomington. Not only I also graduated from IU, but my long time eye doctor in Tallahassee, Fl., Dr.Allan Dean, O.D was a grad of IU and I had excellent care over 2-decades.. I found the staff working with Dr.Kane very professional and helpful. Dr.Kane took his time to explain the current condition of my eye and was very helpful in all aspects. I would highly recommend Dr.Kane and the Family EyeCare Clinic.

Well Eye Candy Optical exceeded my expectations. The purpose for my visit was to see how large…read moretheir Cartier selection was. After a long drive from Canton, Ohio I found this location adjacent to Crocker Park. This area and the people shopping reminded me of an area in Orange County, California that I use to live in. Great Shopping, well dressed shoppers and exclusive findings. Well, that's what I experienced when I walked in Eye Candy and my mouth started drooling as the merchandise was sweet. Now the store isn't that spacious, but trust me you will instantly see glasses that you have never seen. To start I was warmly welcomed by two well dressed ladies, both wearing amazing glasses that just made their aesthetic pop. Then I saw whom I believed was a physician leaving with awesome glasses that gave character and pizzazz. I scoped out the pair of Cartier glasses that had my interest but decided to purchase a pair of Erker frames. Finally , I have another pair of frames for one of my outfits but, this time a pair that truly fits my face and pupillary distance. Thank you so much Francine for your human kindness and your professionalism. Now, here's what made this establishment exceptional. After being measured, I walked out with my single vision frames completed in approximately 15 minutes. I've never had that happen to me and in today's environment most optical location have eliminated their lab. So, if you want temptation, go here. If you want service, go here. If you want an overall amazing experience, go here. Shout out to you Francine. I'll be back for the Cartier glasses. I'm just undecided on silver or gold. See Ya.

They were confident their Zeiss lab -- in Kentucky or Germany -- could handle it, and they were absolutely right. I chose a pair of fantastic blue frames that really complement my face and style. For years my lenses have been thick, but Eye Candy was able to use 1.74 glass lenses that are the thinnest I've ever had. They took a bit longer since they were made in Germany, but the first-time quality was perfect. I'm over the moon with my new glasses. Outstanding service, expertise, and results. Highly recommend Eye Candy!

Dr. Kuta made sure to thoroughly review everything- explaining things in a way I could easily understand and made sure to answer every question I had. The entire staff there is incredible! Shelly helped me shop for new frames and helped make suggestions for what she thought would look good on my face based of the look I wanted. She actually picked out the pair I ended up getting! The whole experience was amazing, as it is every year. And when I went to pick up my glasses the presentation of them was impressive and they were happy to make any adjustments I needed so my glasses sat comfortably on my face. I never thought I'd be excited to go to an eye exam until I met the staff here!

If I could give these incompetent people a negative star I would. Tried to get my mother in law…read morescheduled for double cataract surgery and their scheduling procedure is so complicated for even their own front office staff to do properly , First they told me, my mother-in-law needed to be put on 3 different schedules. I will admit I had to reschedule first eval appointment to due conflict in work schedules since I'm a business owner, so I call to reschedule and from there my nightmare began.... I scheduled an appointment, got a text to confirm. 3 hours later, a text pops up for a different date and time. I call to ask what was going on and to confirm which date was correct and I was met with rude, condescending responses, their answers kept changing with repeated questions, I was told she needed 3 appointments, then the next person I talked to said no, only 2 appointments needed then acted like the other lady never told me 3 appointments were needed. Did admit their fault but never gave me one apology so All I asked for from that moment on.... Was to stop talking(because the more they spoke the more confused the process became) and to just schedule the appointment. The office manager Kept saying I'm trying to, she is trying to but you..... putting the blame on me... again I said let's get past the point of conversation since you just keep going back into the conflict instead of a resolution just to try to prove your point even after you admitted fault. again please let's agree to disagree and just schedule my 79 year old, mentally handicapped mother in law her appointment....To which I was seriously told at this point, knowing the mistakes were on their scheduling practices that they will not see her at all at this point!!!!!! I was so distraught by this point I'm in tears, and feeling beyond overwhelmed, felt not heard or respected so I get yet another referral to a different office, different doctor to find out that these caddy, unprofessional, rude, incompetent front office staff literally informed the new referral office I was a problem to deal with and to not schedule me with them either....IM PRETTY SURE THAT IS ILLEGAL AND A HIPPA VIOLATION if I ever saw one. So screw you.... I wouldn't let a rat be seen here. Absolutely disgusting behavior and I'm now waiting to hear back to a complaint I filed with the Ohio Medical Board!!!! I have actually been in the medical administration field for over 10 years and I have never come across more unprofessional, caddy girls... not women because grown professionals don't act like this. craziest part I wasn't even the patient... i am a full time caregiver to my mother in law which is beyond challenging most days without adding such nonsense. I was only scheduling then someone else was to take her to the appointment... beyond wild!!!!! I thought to check a completely different area more than 45 minutes in the opposite direction of your office so you couldn't black ball me again from trying to get care for my mother in law. and was scheduled within 5 minutes, with lighthearted conversation and questions answered with manners and respect.... You need to hire an entire new front office staff, and your office manager is not any better! A lot of the reviews say the same things about how horrible front staff is... I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to go here!
