I loved that it's located right on the beach, rather than the street a block down It reminded me of the lounges in Bali where you have the option of either eating in a restaurant-style atmosphere, or lounging on the deck while people bring you delicious food and cocktails. Although the chef has a Michelin star, prices were quite reasonable. I had a few glasses of their tasty Mallorcan white wine. I started off with a bread basket and olives. The olives were amazing, not too salty or overpowering. The bread, though not free, was very good, and it came with a red pepper puree and an aioli. The fact that they gave me a true aioli rather than just a garlic-flavored mayonnaise let me know that this was a quality restaurant with integrity. For my meal, I had some grilled vegetables with black truffle and a beetroot risotto with Mallorcan cheese and candied nuts. The vegetables had good flavor, but it would have been much better if they hadn't included endives and fennel, which were overpowering and bitter. The beet risotto was very good and had just the right amount of very strong cheese on it. The portion was quite large, and I could have easily shared it. For dessert, at the server's request, I had their daily special, a spongecake with some kind of granita-type ice on it. It wasn't bad, but I wish I'd gone for the goat cheese ice cream instead. Service was excellent. Overall, Royal Beach is a wonderful choice if you're in the Alcudia/Playa de Muro area.

It has such a beautiful view. We ended up staying here for two hours, partly because the service was pretty slow, but other than that it was because we enjoyed ourselves so much that we didn't realise how long we had been there. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area that is looking for a nice relaxing place to drink.

You may find this place on a pricier side but the experience you would gain deserves it. Their breads is vegan friendly, and the accompanying olive assortment is unique as well. We ordered tumbet and vegetarian paella (shares two). Their desserts contains egg, so let them know if you want to refrain. I ate their exactly a week ago and I still crave for their tumbet. We ate at a different restaurant the next evening, to have a different experience and we still regret for not visiting zarzales instead. A must visit to this restaurant during your stay in Pollenca for a delicious Mallorcan experience.

Our server was kind and answered our many questions about the food, since we wanted to choose more authentic items. The outdoor seating was in the shade which helped with the heat from the 95F weather, but we would've liked some more fans around. The food quality varied quite a bit. The paella was the best of it all. The rice was perfectly cooked, not too overdone, and the shellfish in it was delicious. The San Peter fish fillet was extremely over-salted, and with needing to pay for water (as one does in Europe), it was definitely not the best. There was another Mallorcan dish we ordered that I can't remember the name of but is in the photos and consisted of sautéed veggies and seafood; this one was okay and flavored well but unexciting compared to the paella. Definitely recommend the paella if you come here. The prices of the food was all quite reasonable and we paid €55 for three dishes and three waters. Definitely more reasonable compared to many restaurants on the pier. TLDR: Definitely recommend this place due to the nice service and well-priced food! Definitely recommend the paella!
