If you take the pricing into consideration we lack stars to give on the scale. The deserts with homemade icecream, chocolate of many different textures and fruits in fruitjuice was likely delicious. Danny's Gastro Bar is run as a side bistro to the next door 1 Michelin star Restaurant - and the touch of high class with great ingrediences is clear. And it's really warm and down to earth atmosphere where we felt welcome in shorts and tshirts. My 12y daughter is not normally fond of "unknown" food. But everything was "the best dish ever!". My very best recomendations to visit Danny's Gastro Bar. At least once when visiting Mallorca.

Garlic was just right. Cuttlefish squid ink croquettes - Good crust. Squid ink is an acquire taste and different. But we also liked it. Grilled Lamb chop -it was the best lamb chop I've ever tasted. It's not just how they grilled it but the quality of the lamb and also they are baby lamb, not gamey and very tender. Even the fries, the baked/roasted garlic and the chili was amazing. Grilled octopus - The lamb chop was so good that even the grilled octopus was pretty outstanding, you don't really notice anymore. The sauce there made with olive was impressive. Very delicious. At first, I saw the almost 5 stars rating must be forgiving and generous tourist's rating but after coming here, now I know. This is the real deal.

We ordered a bunch of dishes since we hadn't eaten all day and I'm glad we did. My favorite by far was their gambas. Sizzling and garlicky, good quality shrimp, it's one of those dishes that I could've eaten multiple orders of. The meatballs were tasty and the sauce I scooped up with a bunch of bread, didn't leave anything left on the plate. The croquettes were good but my favorite. The fried goat cheese was surprisingly good as well. The bread with tomato bread was nice little appetizer. We came for lunch and they only sit people in the outdoor dining area and not inside. We got there at a good time because after we sat down, the tables filled up and they were telling people it was an hour wait. We overheard them taking dinner reservations and they were already booking out 3 days in advance. So if you plan on coming for dinner, best to call ahead and make your reservations way in advance. Overall, if I was visiting Sóller again this would be a stop I'd make over and over again. In an area where things look really touristy and overpriced, El Sabor felt like the best choice we could've made that day and glad we did.
