Looked at Liberty's 5 star rating and called them. My boiler sounded like it was boiling the…read morewater and would shut itself down. I called liberty and a repairman came out. He said I needed a blower motor. I asked how much and he said cost would be approx. $650 for repair. He came back with motor, installed it and charged $1100. He said it had a 2 yr warranty on repairs. After this repair, It did the same thing after each repair visit. He came out three more times and every time told me my 11 year old boiler was old and needed replacing. The cost to replace it would be $8K for a new boiler alone. After 4 service calls and the quote of $8K, I did some research. I called the factory.. they said "average life of this boiler is 15-20 years". They asked me if the boiler was leaking, I said no. They said, then you do not need a new boiler. I called another repair company in Montrose to check it out. They came out and in 45 minutes had it fixed. Repairman said his own personal boiler was 25 years old and he had never touched it. They charged me $600 for the repair. You can make up your own mind if you think Liberty is reputable or not.

I previously rated Unrivaled Plumbing very high after they performed some emergency work at one of my properties. The work was fast and the price was fair, so calling on them seemed like a no brainer. The red flags started popping up when the information from scheduler and technician contradicted each other about an estimate. We were shocked when the technician arrived and quoted $1600 to install an 18" bathroom vanity and faucet and a kitchen sink faucet, all of which we provided, we simply needed installation. When the tech declared "our prices have gone up significantly", we should have chased him away. We reluctantly allowed the work because we trusted the company. Horrible. Decision. Despite attempts to obtain a cost breakdown of the labor and work, Unrivaled Plumbing has been less than transparent. When the tech was asked directly for the price for labor, he stumbled to come up with a response but eventually indicated "it's a flat rate". We asked for the rate again, but we were met with a non-response response. Several attempts were made to obtain an explanation for the exorbitant costs. At least three times we were told "our prices have gone up significantly" but they never offered an explanation or an adjustment. Two and a half hours work. The bathroom vanity and faucet installation cost was $892. The kitchen sink faucet installation cost was $758. Do the math, they tacked on an additional $50 than what was quoted. I did call a couple local plumbers who quoted me a price less than 1/2 what we were charged by Unrivaled Plumbing. Take their word for it: their "prices have gone up significantly". An error in judgement this time - we won't allow to happen again, but at least we can alert you with a heads-up. Needless to say, we won't be calling this company again.

I tried calling unrivaled plumbing for emergency after hours service on Saturday and Sunday the 6th and 7th, but there was no answer and you cannot leave a message. Unlike what their website says "emergency only Saturday and Sunday". So I called on Monday the 8th and I was told that Johnathan the person that installed the vanity, would be coming out within 20 minutes. Johnathan called shortly after his arrival to say that a part was leaking that he " never touched ". He was the person that installed the new vanity and unhooked the old one. How could this be that he didn't touch anything during the installation? Johnathan went on to tell me that he gave me an "excellent deal" the last time and this time! He did get the leak to stop and did not charge for this visit. He sent pictures and video. See for yourself. Do you think that it's possible to not touch these parts while installing? Here's the newest update. As of the 9th of September the leak came back! I will not be using them again, or calling them for their shoddy installation of $1650. What a punch in the gut. Again UNREALISTIC, UNRELIABLE PLUMBING, should not be used when considering any of your plumbing needs, even the smallest ones. Those cost the most. On the 10th I called another plumber to check the leak again and hopefully fix Johnathan's mistake. Guess what? Less than 30 minutes later a very RELIABLE EXPERT PLUMBER confirmed that only the compression stops needed tightening. And he confirmed that yes the plumber who installed this had to have touched the leaking part. This $100 job would've cost me another $500 with Johnathan and unrivaled plumbing. He would of made up the problem that needed to be fixed. What a complete waste of time and money using UNREALISTIC Plumbing! Incompetent, money hungry and lacking any sort of professionalism let alone plumbing skills needed to have a plumbing business.

The fact I had panels removed and wide open the fact it was a dripping leak and fresh water and the fact its a concrete slab that was damp not even a inch of water this jack ass charged my in laws 726 dollar's for so called difficult access. the dam pipe was 6 feet in and completely visible not like it was hidden. the cost of the fix was fare and proper 421.00 it was close to what the other 3 said it would have cost. ALL agreed he ripped my in laws off because he didn't want to do it and instead of my in laws calling me first they just said ok and let this jerk rip them off because he told them its that cost, or he needs to turn off there water for 3 days and let it dry under there. First off if i turned off the water it would dry in 2 hours if that. this was in march 31 and I'm still enraged and absolutely bull shit to feed a lie like that to get paid this insane amount for less than 1 hour of work on a dripping pipe. We are enrolled in their bi-annual service of our heating and AC systems and those have kept our systems running reliably and that is important to us for our lifestyle. I strongly suspect some of these poor reviews have been done on behalf of their competitors because they are completely inconsistent with our real experiences. You know, when they can't compete with skill and service all that's left is to attack reputation.

Before they…read moreshowed up I figured out I really only had a hair pin link in the copper tubing so I called to let them know. The young man who showed up and removed my "fix" so when I went outside to see what he was doing there was water everywhere and could not find him. There he was sitting in his truck "working on an estimate for me"! He ended up spending an hour working on a "estimate" while at the same time accomplishing absolutely NO work. I was able to reduce the water problem again and clean up most of the water, again. He came back with an estimate totaling over $3,300, what!! He said I needed to do complete at least $950 worth of work, which included replacing a thermal expansion tank for over $259. I paid him the $49 service fee to come out and sent him packing. I called in Rhodes Plumbing who fixed my problem the next day for $200 including the thermal expansion tank. He hand me run down to Home Depot and pick up the tank for $45 and he installed it for me. So, Peterson was going to charge me 5x's the price of that tank. I had a friend who had a similar problem with Peterson but unfortunately she is older and doesn't know how to deal with this type of issue. It's too bad that we have companies like this in the Montrose area. I will never call, use or recommend Peterson to anyone!!
