He said I needed a blower motor. I asked how much and he said cost would be approx. $650 for repair. He came back with motor, installed it and charged $1100. He said it had a 2 yr warranty on repairs. After this repair, It did the same thing after each repair visit. He came out three more times and every time told me my 11 year old boiler was old and needed replacing. The cost to replace it would be $8K for a new boiler alone. After 4 service calls and the quote of $8K, I did some research. I called the factory.. they said "average life of this boiler is 15-20 years". They asked me if the boiler was leaking, I said no. They said, then you do not need a new boiler. I called another repair company in Montrose to check it out. They came out and in 45 minutes had it fixed. Repairman said his own personal boiler was 25 years old and he had never touched it. They charged me $600 for the repair. You can make up your own mind if you think Liberty is reputable or not.

They came the following day giving our system an okay. When we turned on our air conditioner this spring, we ask for them to come and make sure everything was working the way it should. Mike came and while he was here, he did the annual checkup on our furnace. He discovered we had a crack in the firebox, we ordered a new furnace to be installed in September. We discovered water leaking from our water heater. We called Keith's to advise of our system issues. Mike came and pulled the old furnace so damaged floor could be removed. When our temporary floor was installed, Mike was here to get our new furnace in before we needed heat at night. We have found we are more than just a customer. Keith's Heating & Air have made sure we know we are part of their family! We highly recommend this wonderful company!!

The bay never fogged up before he worked on it. We had a communication problem with another window. My husband replaced the glass , then we paid him twice to replace the window. I had to pay him another $425 above his bid for glass I had just replaced. I let that one go , but we never got an apology , let alone the bay window fixed. I had planned on using him for the interior , but I don't care for how he does business. A bid is a bid . I shouldn't be paying more , but the tipping point is when he broke my window , refused to fix it or get a bid. use with caution. I don't think it's a language issue. He seems to think he can just keeping asking for money and breaking things and that is somehow on the homeowner. The front door was not done as bid and that is still not fixed Either.

The young man who showed up and removed my "fix" so when I went outside to see what he was doing there was water everywhere and could not find him. There he was sitting in his truck "working on an estimate for me"! He ended up spending an hour working on a "estimate" while at the same time accomplishing absolutely NO work. I was able to reduce the water problem again and clean up most of the water, again. He came back with an estimate totaling over $3,300, what!! He said I needed to do complete at least $950 worth of work, which included replacing a thermal expansion tank for over $259. I paid him the $49 service fee to come out and sent him packing. I called in Rhodes Plumbing who fixed my problem the next day for $200 including the thermal expansion tank. He hand me run down to Home Depot and pick up the tank for $45 and he installed it for me. So, Peterson was going to charge me 5x's the price of that tank. I had a friend who had a similar problem with Peterson but unfortunately she is older and doesn't know how to deal with this type of issue. It's too bad that we have companies like this in the Montrose area. I will never call, use or recommend Peterson to anyone!!

After moving in following an expensive inspection, the furnace did not turn on due to a burned out…read moremotor. We doubt that this happened between the month the house was inspected and when we moved in (the house was unoccupied during this time), i.e. it is unlikely that the inspector even tried to turn it on! There was also significant roof leakage both inside the house and in the soffits, with obvious water stains in both areas. As we were out of town buyers, we relied on the inspector to catch such obvious problems. Mainly, we got an expensive home inspection with lots of photos attached and no relevant information from this company.

I assumed he would do a thorough, more hands-on inspection of basic electrical components like outlets, light and dimmer switches, etc. but was not the case. His visual inspection of AC unit was un-acceptable as he never started it to check its operation. Lastly, he failed to note/notice the improper water drainage under the deck affecting the infra-structure, nor mention anything about the buckling brick patio pavers caused by tree roots. We questioned him if he looked at the warped exterior siding since no notes or details were in his report. He came back next day to report it was warped in 1 area in back yard. One wonders why he failed to mention about the rest of house exterior? There were missing siding slats and missing/chipped/broken trim pieces everywhere! Again, maybe he was rushed, distracted or running late although all of these important details should have been looked at and reported in his final inspection repot.
