Crisp clean housekeeping by Lisa

Crisp clean housekeeping by Lisa

I should have read the Yelp review (June 17, 2019) before enlisting the cleaning services of Lisa…read moreBarker, Crisp Clean Housekeeping, in September 2019. Given my circumstances, I did not have time. But should have made the time. What that June homeowner experienced was in line with mine, and more. And like that review said...." we highly recommend against working with Lisa" is spot on. Examples: 1) Adding $400 to my first rental for "tips" to her employees to clean my first rental move out without asking permission. If I had caught it in time, I would stopped the tips and done so on my terms. 2) Exceeding scope of a second rental and expecting payment. 3) Lying about my primary residence alleged cleaning job and asking payment with no evidence of work done - despite being asked. 4) Unprofessional behaviors such as name calling. 5) Not taking responsibility. 6) Never once understanding who the client was. 7) Not communicating. 8) Unable to document and properly charge for work done. My situation got more outlandish when Lisa filed two small claims court actions against me and my primary residence and for a second rental as well as filing a lien against my primary home. A lien is an official charge against a property. Her lien was a total fabrication. While the lien lacked any merit at all, I was forced to take action with the Courts to get it removed. Case in point, she lied in the lien by failing to provide evidence of cleaning services which is required thru an Affidavit and a Notary Seal. No work was done in my new residence. We had not even unloaded the moving boxes. Lisa claimed she had a sub-contractor relationship with my builder. She did not. And there was more. But then, regarding the two small claim actions she filed against me, she failed to show up to court to present her case. Both cases were dismissed with prejudice, meaning she cannot refile them. (Claimed family emergencies. Courts allow for date/time changes. She never called the Court to ask for a new hearing date which would have been granted). She wasted the Courts time, attorney, material witnesses and others. Court time is precious, and she misused the system. She now has a default judgement issued by the Ouray County Court against her business for the attorney's fees that I incurred as a result of her false and vexatious claims. She never even responded to our claim for attorney fees because of her actions which shows she is unable to support her (false) claims. If she were right, she would have fought the actions. Everything is recorded in the Ouray County Recorder's (Colorado) Office. Perhaps even the bigger issue, is this. What other clients are unaware of her false claims of work and either overpay or pay for work that she claims she did, but really did not? Like the June, 2019 review..." Think long and hard before you consider hiring Lisa Barker (Crisp Clean Housekeeping)". I could not agree more.

We highly recommend against working with Lisa. She damaged our rugs and refused to take ownership…read more In fact, she blamed us. She damaged a book and refused to replace it. She damaged a screen and took it with her, promising to repair and return it. She did not. She allowed an employee to take a book from our home. It was never returned and Lisa refused to replace it. (Some would call these last two stealing.) She agreed to a specific number of hours, a rate, and a scope of work. On one occasion, when she mismanaged her team's time and surpassed our agreement by almost double, she refused to take ownership of her mistake and, instead, insisted that we pay her. She was a no-show on two occasions, knowing we had company coming, and putting us in a bind. When all of these blunders were brought to her attention, she called us rude and not nice people. And then she refused to communicate. Think long and hard before you consider hiring Lisa Barker.
