My truck was declared a "total loss" in an accident, and while trying to complete the inspection to re-register it as salvage, I was running into the issue of having to replace the seatbelt since my original was torn. Checked junkyards, online, and the dealership, but it's discontinued. Finally was recommended to check places that do re-webbing. I found L&D and messaged them on Instagram explaining my issue. They quickly replied to my message and said I could bring it in anytime. They provided a 1-week turnaround time and asked if that was okay, which it was. I dropped off the seatbelt on a Friday, and they texted me that it was ready for pickup the following Thursday. No payment required up front, just afterward once the job was done. Having recently been in an accident, & being a DIY guy by nature, I quickly discovered that I can get seat belts repaired & the air bag controller reset for a fraction of the replacement costs- so I shopped. L&D was reasonably priced, well reviewed... and fairly close by (which sold it for me). My parts shipped overnight, and I had "like new" seat belts a few days later. There was an issue with the SRS module, but they communicated well and worked with me to resolve it. (It was pretty exciting to see that airbag warning light disappear!) PS- L&D doesn't sell airbags, but I recommend searching for used airbags too. I replaced 2 airbags (easy if you're at all handy). Just make sure you don't mess with any of this stuff until the power is off! read more

1-Star Review -- Very Disappointed With L&D Solutions I would not recommend L&D Solutions based on my experience. I paid them because I needed help getting my vehicle's module issue resolved so I could get the car registered. Instead of actually helping me resolve the module concern, they simply refunded my money and seem to consider the matter closed. The problem is, the module issue is still not resolved. My car has been sitting in my driveway for over a month, and I reached out because I needed an actual solution--not just a refund. I also have concerns regarding the UPS refund and how this situation was handled. Refunding my payment does not resolve the original problem or address the reason I contacted them in the first place. I expected better communication and customer service. If you need a company that will actually work with you to resolve a module issue, I would think twice before using L&D Solutions. read more

SCAM ! These people are liars. They will not do what they say they will do. It is pathetic the way they do business. Do I sound upset? Well, I was told that my seat belts would be repaired and returned to me 2 days after they arrived to their shop. My seatbelts arrived to their shop 10 days ago and they have still not been shipped back to me. Not only that, I have been messaging and emailing them, calling and texting too, and they do not respond, they simply ignore me. Very hard to deal with, Orders must be done online as trying to take payment in person is impossible as they would not take payment, repeat customer thinking that first time was just an error to find out it was not. Dropped off and Picked up in person with payment done online. Second order was dropped off in person and was to be shipped back as they say that they have a quick turn around. to find out 2nd order that I dropped off in person when picking up first order was never done as payment was not made online, was told that they did not have any contact or payment info to complete order. when they had everything from first order I was shocked. Not sure what to say or do , as I am not local.... The part was unavailable from the Chevy dealer so I was hesitant to ship the seat belt anywhere just in case it was lost. I drove 2 hours to L & D Solutions. I scheduled an appointment last Monday to come fix the airbag light I have on. They told me I needed a clock spring so I went to the dealer to buy one. For me not to waste my time driving back to this shop I communicated with them through the phone to see if they still had time to install it and they said no that they were booked. So I said okay I can come in another time and they set me up an appointment for next Monday, I show up and no one is here because it's Memorial Day maybe? The thing is they could have communicated that with me the same day they booked another appointment that Monday wouldn't work for them. I wasted my time and my gas coming to this shop. These guys are awesome and very professional. I recently bought a salvage car from an auction (never again) and needed my seat belts and seat rebuilt. I found these guys from YouTube and so I messaged them through instagram. They are very helpful with answering any questions you may have. I took my stuff in and within a few days they were ready to pick up. It was a mission to get to Sacramento from Fremont but it was def worth it because they did an awesome job and the prices were phenomenal. They are really great at what they do. Their shop is also really nice; I had a chance to pop in and check out the operation. So far these guys have been a breath of fresh air on this horrendous salvage build. Took my Subaru to L&D for a airbag light diagnostic after already doing a diagnostic at a local dealership. The dealer's diagnostic scanned for fault codes and listed a number of items checked including testing harnesses and resistance. Per diagnosis it was recommended replacement of airbag control module and then a recheck (estimated cost $1,686.10). Did not agree to immediately follow the recommendation instead, decided to look for a second opinion. Found L & D online and decided to try them and am very glad that I did. L & D's diagnostic tool (which i viewed) indicated more clearly a possible connection issue with the recently installed clock spring (installed because horn wasn't working). Took the car home and checked the connections to the clock spring and found that one wire harness was not seated correctly. After snapping the harness into place and reconnecting the battery the airbag light was no longer on. Thank you so much L & D Solutions, your friendly professional service and advice saved me a lot of money, I would recommend you to anyone needing help with airbag issues. (after a follow up discussion with the dealership, they agreed to refund the diagnostic charge I paid them). read more

I was referred here by the window replacement shop I go to and sure am glad I was. They did a great job and the turn around time was great. I had my seat redone and the headliner taken care of. They both came out terrific! Price was reasonable and the customer service was good. Answered all my questions and made sure I was happy before I left. These guys are awesome! We decided to rebuild a vehicle which had had it's air bags deployed... first time down that road. Fixing the damage was pretty straight forward, replacing that air bags, check. But the seat belts had locked up and the dealer wanted a fortune to replace them. A buddy told me about a contact he had up in Antelope, I contacted them and got a hold of Dennis. He explained how they were able to unlock these assemblies and restore them to as new condition and performance. They fully guarantee all there work. I sent the belts off on Wednesday and had them back on Saturday. Reinstalled them... Bingo, they worked perfectly. These guys saved me a ton of $$$!!
