I almost can't believe how fast my new vinyl fence went up because usually with contractors everything is delayed- not with these guys! They were on time and got to work. As soon as they finished, they let me know that if anything is not up to my liking that they would come back to answer questions and correct anything that may not be to my standards. Most of all, I appreciated Luis's kindness and willingness to work with my budget. This was the best deal I could find in the area and my new fence looks pristine. Thank you so much!

If they can't show up for an estimate, what's going to happen if and when they start the work. I've gotten estimates that were absolutely ridiculous. People are either unreliable or way too expensive. I have these large wall mirror over 20 feet wide and 16 feet high in my on-suite. That was always a concern with any contractor who came to give an estimate. I was blessed by meeting up with Eyal Abramov of Highlander Rennovations. He came for the estimate when he said he would come. He later came back with a written estimate which were setup to be paid in installments for each type of work that was completed and only that portion of the cost was required. He came everyday early in the morning and did a full day of work. I had an issue in my on-suite where I couldn't get the exact size windows. And then when I ordered the windows, I ordered them the wrong size. I asked him what about a large single sliding window. I was amazed that he was able to frame the window perfectly so that it looked like that's the way it was originally. I trust Highland Renovation, they have good prices, provide great service, are on time and you pay only when that portion of the job which is well defined in advance, is completed. Also he's very clean and organized, the demolition was done in one day for 2 bathrooms and the clean-up was great. There was absolutely no stress and this was just a pleasure. The workmanship was above par. I highly recommend this company for renovations and home repair.

I am temporarily updating this review to show they are working to resolve the issue. Once the correct gate is fully installed, this review will be removed completely. Unprofessional Bait-and-Switch - Using Their Contract Typos to Shortchange Customers Beware of Continental Home Group if you value honesty. Back on April 30th, we negotiated a fence project and explicitly requested a price match based on a competitor's quote that included '1 lattice gate.' The sales representative, Joe, confirmed in writing via text that the owner approved adding the lattice upgrade for free to match the deal and secure our business at a final price of $5,595. We paid them 100% in full and in good faith. However, the company committed a clerical error on the final paperwork they drafted by omitting the word 'lattice' on the line item. They then installed a plain, standard gate. When we immediately pointed out the error upon completion, they tried to gaslight us. First, the sales rep tried to claim a lattice gate was 'never discussed' (completely contradicting his own text messages). We very clearly stated a competitor (Modern Fencing) offered a lower price with the lattice gate included. The very definition of price matching is giving a better price for the same exact offer, so how did we end up not getting it in the price matched offer by CHG? Then, they tried to blame us for not acting as their job-site construction supervisors to stop the crew mid-installation. I notified Joe immediately after the crew left that same day that the gate was incorrect. He blamed me for not speaking up after it was already installed, even though the labor and material costs to swap it out would be the same regardless. Finally, they demanded an extra extortion fee of $500, or told us we had to 'buy a whole new project' just to get the gate we already paid for. Highway robbery to charge that much just to replace a gate. Using your own corporate typographical error to hold a fully paid customer's gate hostage for more cash is a completely unethical, bad-faith business practice. I am currently filing a formal consumer fraud complaint with the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs and initiating a small claims lawsuit in the Middlesex County Special Civil Part to recover the cost of hiring a reputable company to fix their mistake. Check every single syllable of their paperwork, because they will aggressively exploit their own mistakes to avoid honoring their written text commitments. This is not how you treat a paying customer. I regret not staying with Modern Fencing. Not only were they cheaper, we would have gotten exactly what we asked for. Instead we got bait and switched by Continental Home Group.
