I didn't schedule a snowplow & I haven't been able to go to work since last week. No one was available until I tried Gary's tree and landscaping. Gary responded he would do what he can. The next day Gary came and cleared our driveway. We had more than a foot of snow and our driveway is long and has steep areas. Gary saved our month! I found Gary to be polite , professional, and he charged a very competitive rate. Highly recommended!!

The cleanup was done, but over a dozen very tall 50'-70' trees were in disrepair. I called Gary as this is one of his specialties. He sent a two man crew and in a full day of climbing, most of the limbs were repaired in order to produce new growth in 2013. They still are a shadow of there former selves, but I am hopeful the expert pruning will help aid in their recovery. Gary is a very trustworthy and professional. I would have no problem recommending his company for any variety of landscaping services.

He is a well-organized, personable businessman who returned phone calls promptly and came when he said he would. He gave me a timeline for getting the work done based on his availability, which was a few weeks out. He was available a week early, called the night before to confirm it was okay to do the job early, and then arrived on time the next day. He was careful with his equipment not to damage my yard (the chipper was huge), and he chipped all the material within a few hours. I want to comment on his clean-up as I have never had another contractor do such a fantastic job. My yard, and the four areas with the very large piles of dead trees were spotless. He did a much better job cleaning that I could have done on my best day. No little twigs, no leaves, and no damage to the grass that was under the pile. Spotless. Dave did everything that I wanted, on time, for a reasonable price, and made it look easy. If you need tree service, I would highly recommend you reach out to Dave.

Went with Lopez Landscaping since they had the smaller equipment and manpower to get the job done. The tree was quickly removed but it was a 3 star maybe 3.5 star experience because of the additional work needed to coordinate everything. The good: - competitive quote and they were able to come by quickly to assess the work - flexible in bringing equipment that worked with tight openings - main tree removal was done in 5 hours - removed paver stones so they wouldn't be damaged by machinery - friendly and professional. They accommodated a special request to cut a section for a table The bad: - rescheduling was a huge pain. We had to go back and forth for 3 weeks and I had to proactively follow up to confirm if they were coming - unable to grind the stump as part of the initial quote so had to pay another $400 for them to come back with a different machine - never got an invoice despite asking for one multiple times To summarize, this seems to be a nice family business that has experience removing trees quickly. However, it doesn't appear there is a back office that keeps everything organized so you're going to have to do a lot of work to stay on top of things.
