We are so happy we found this gem! Not only did they have an excellent wine list and mules, but…read morethey also had delicious food. Plus, they turned on the World Cup match for us. Most of the seating is at the bar. The bar chairs are cushy, with backs and places for your feet. There is also a sitting area with couches. We both enjoyed our beverages and would've had another if we didn't have to hop on the road. I drank a rose from the Willamette River Valley, OR, while my hubby had a mule. For lunch, we ordered the yummy burrata with prosciutto and tomatoes as our appetizer. For our meal, we shared the chicken bacon ranch pizza. It was so good and very filling. We might have been able to eat it all if we hadn't gotten the app, but we can't resist a burrata. I recommend asking for a side of their ranch to dip your crust in. They also have a gift shop with excellent-smelling soy candles that I almost bought (but I'm on a candle freeze until I use more of what I already have) and t-shirts and coasters with fun quotes. They also have escape rooms in envelopes that I was tempted to buy, as I have never seen them.

Drinks: 5/5 Food: 4/5…read moreService: 2/5 I was so impressed by: - the alcohol selections- really extensive and unique choices. All 3 wine options in my flight were outstanding, and we also got a mule. - the flatbread pizza! All the meats were high-quality and it was cooked perfectly. - my husband loved the BBQ blueberry meatball pizza, and it's very unique to the area. - the vegan chocolate cake- didn't even get a pic because it was so excellent I ate it immediately, and I also appreciated having a vegan dessert option Could improve: - chips & salsa were worse than anything I get from the grocery store- they tasted like straight-up Tostitos mild. For like $10 and with otherwise great food, please do better. - the service was extremely indifferent. The main guy working was alone behind the counter, with no customers when we arrived, and he didn't acknowledge us for several minutes. We watched this pattern of confusion continue with everyone else who came in- no one knew where to sit, etc. He rarely visited tables and it took a long time to even get water and menus.

It was very chaotic with all of the people upstairs, but she made sure everybody got their order. As for the food, I did order the tri-tip sandwich as she did mention that was probably one of the most popular items. I smoke tri-tip all of the time and I feel bad rating it this way, but I didn't particularly care for the sandwich sandwich. However, my brother ordered the same thing and he loved it. Check them out when you're in Medora.

Had…read morestopped here because their website said they had many different kinds of craft beers available and great food! First I will say it was a bit busy because peo were trying to get something to eat before the show in Medora, but that doesn't excuse rudeness! Our waitress was very blunt, and short with us and when I asked what beers they had on tap, her answer, "We have ultra, an IPA and a brown ale!! What happened to all the multiple crafts that your website says you have! Oh well! Ordered the IPA and she brought it back rather quickly! Ordered our food and then waited for quite a long time for a couple of burgers! Like 45 minutes and in that time, the waitress never stopped by to se if we wanted anything else to drink! Had to flag her down and wave her over to get her to stop back at our table! With my second beer almost gone, our food finally arrived! I don't mind waiting for food when I know they are busy, but that food should at least come out hot and fresh! Nothing even remotely close! My fries were rubbery and cold and my burger was no where near even Luke warm! If I lived near by, would never stop again! My suggestion for anyone traveling through, find someplace else to eat! Not worth the money!

Comfortable surroundings during the day, may get rowdy at night. Food is solid, well prepared, filling, tasty and fairly priced. A go-to is the fish and chips. Onion rings are above average. Recommend beginning at TR's Tavern, a small lounge next to the dining room. It's old fashioned is a generous pour and expertly crafted. Plus the bartenders are just up front and friendly folks. So much to like about the dining room. On consecutive nights we had great meals and wonderful service, particularly from Alex! It's not over crowded and has a real rhythm to its service, although you never feel rushed. Impressive wine list that we chose from both nights. We also like the substantial side Ceasars you could add to the entrees. The bread service was very good too. Heartily recommend the duck quarters or the lamb rack, both with superb cheese grits and grilled asparagus. The favors just knock you for a loop! The blackened salmon is also an excellent choice, with the really well prepared roasted red potatoes. So creamy. The dinner salad with beef tips is almost overwhelming--skip lunch that day. The sticky toffee desert is surprisingly good-well baked, sweet but not too much. You really miss a taste of western North Dakota if you skip this place.

We returned about 6pm and this time entered through the hotel and paused at the "Please wait to be seated" sign post for about 10 minutes. The restaurant was bustling and we thought nothing about being "ignored" but my wife insisted that we walk to the main entrance and get in line. We were shocked when the front end staff found no reservations under my wife's name. Thankfully, "Shaker" had noted our earlier visit with my wife's service animal and had made a handwritten to the affect that we had a dog. Whew, crisis averted thanks to "the man", Shaker and his attention to detail! Dinner was uneventful and the service by Franco was exceptional. We enjoyed the bourbon glazed Brussel sprouts before our entrees; she had the 8 oz tenderloin and I had the osso bucco. Everything was terrific and the pace, leisurely. Since we were celebrating my wife's birthday she got a candle on her sticky, toffee pudding and I opted for the creme brulee. Fantastic experience, highly recommended.
