My venison was lovely as were the accompanying sides. There was a wide variety of side dishes in small portions and I appreciated that. They definitely have it down! There was a line of waitresses (only women waiters work there) they were allocated per group in line and walked you to your seat. There is no menu - everyone gets the same thing your only choice is what you get to drink and if you want your steak rare, medium, or well-done. When the plate of food came out, my husband and I thought it was a small portion and then realized they they give you another helping after you finish the first one. The sauce is very unique and flavorful but, I am not sure I would agree on the food being worth the price. It was a unique place to experience while on vacation but, I won't go out of your way to go there.

We had the fondue moitie-moitie (blend of two cheeses) as well as an assortment of meats, pickles and onions with plenty of bread, and it was delicious with more than enough food. They also suggested a delicious white wine to go along with it. It may seem like an odd set up, but we highly recommend it!
